Whoa, momma! For some reason, on some websites using the some kind of Word-thingy-majigy software, the IP addresses just pop up along with the comments. Don't know what that's all about. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. At first, I thought they were just phone numbers advertising for Chinese take-out.

Friday's Potomac News editorial said it very well:
<B>"Yet cyberspace offers a giant stage for the gutless attacks of cowards who hurl insults and accusations under the cover of anonymity.</B>

The first amendment allows a person to say something, without prior censorship by the government. It does NOT protect a person from the consequences of that speech.

Nobody stopped BVBL from posting, he quit himself. Nobody is shutting down this blog. Nobody is telling you what you can write. But people have to accept the consequences of their actions, and if the justice system finds defamation, it will exact those consequences.

BTW, Greg, thanks for stopping by my booth yesterday at the train show.

Chapman is an idiot to dumb to hold public office for anything. If could not figure out that there was a filing deadline he is hopeless. Also that MJM article provided you with great publicity. Before that only 10 people (or so) even knew about BVBL. Manassas John

Wow Anon. 12:20 & 12:47, this goes way deeper than I thought. It also might explain this:

JUNN06_05 MAR-JAC Poultry Inc. - P.O.Box 1017 - Gainesville - GA - 30503 Poultry Company - Gainesville GA 5/6/2005 1500 1500 (from Chapman's SBE financial disclosure report)

"Affidavit traces financial probe of poultry firm

By REBECCA CARR
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
WASHINGTON -- A newly released court document sheds light on the link
between a Georgia poultry company and a web of Virginia companies and
nonprofits suspected of supporting radical Islamic terrorists.

Mar-Jac Poultry, a large poultry processor in Gainesville, allegedly
transferred millions of dollars to the businesses and charities in a
suspicious manner, according to an affidavit filed by David Kane, a
federal investigator with the Department of Homeland Security's
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, in federal court in the
Eastern District of Virginia." (first two paragraphs of article)

Google MARJAC-Poultry, Inc., Investigations and you'll find that article and lots more.

I wonder if Steve Chapman realizes just HOW big that can of worms he opened is going to get.

Whoa, momma!

If these guys are looking for someone to sue for defamation of Mr. Chapman, they should check out these two posts:

http://tooconservative.com/?p=332#comment-2445

by "—stevechapmanwantsparrishdead"

and

http://tooconservative.com/?p=332#comment-2450

by "—stevechapmanwantsdavisdead"

Thanks to Nixon deputizing me (and what I think must be a glitch in the software on that site), I see that the IP address for both those posts looks like it came from 70.187.199.213 if I'm reading it correctly, but I could be wrong since I'm more comfortable using a waffle iron than a computer.

I got all shook up when I saw "—stevechapmanwantsparrishdead" and then noticed that the date was just a few days before he passed on to the big Graceland in the sky. That's just wrong, man....

The difference in that case was that the victims, in two separate incidents one evening, were innocent and being physically assaulted by three hispanic gang members. I put an end to it. It's a world of difference.

"When you see that victim getting pummeled by the side of the road and jump out to stop it...."

Funny. "Pummeling" is a word that some would use to describe your treatment of Chapman.
