Does This Cesspool Have a Bottom?

By Greg L | 4 August 2006 | Blogs | 23 Comments

Just in case you were uncertain about the moral caliber of some of our Democratic opponents, comes this expletive-infested editorial entitled “Drown the little [expletive deleted]” Of particular note is this pithy comment:

In the end, Whackjob removes his post, apparently when he finds out the kid is a deaf mute freak.

What can you possibly say to this? Fortunately this is not representative of Democrats in general. Perhaps they can help police their own, as we Republicans tend to do. I’m about at the point of demanding it.

Just to ensure sufficient clarity for some of the less responsible members of our opposition, let me say this: As you delve to the very bottom of the cesspool and emit ever more sickening bile regarding my family, do not let your mendacity encourage you to act on your statements. Be a coward. Because not only am I one extremely outraged father, but I am a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment and have extensive military experience as an infantry soldier, which I will put to use in defending myself and my family if necessary. I would not at all bemoan the opportunity to put you out of my misery should you give me no other choice. So be a good coward, and stay away from my family.

UPDATE: After receiving a cease and desist letter, the website operator in question has now removed at least the threats.

    Amen!!!

I was merely going to say as a father myself, that I would feel as if I wanted to rip the person’s lungs out and beat them over their head with them.

    You don’t mess with a person’s family.

Let’s all agree to the rule set out by Riley, Not O’Reilly. I think we should also all agree that a web site entitled “F___ the Right,” full of rants as it is, is not representative of any political party and ideology, but of an extremely disordered and pathetic personality. Blogs are funand useful because you can have what amounts to a world wide conversation on a topic. Sometimes things get out of hand, but it looks like Greg L. and Greg B. have at least brought this current controversy to an end. We shouldn’t let a truly insane outsider get things started up again. He insults everybody, Greg B. and Greg L., and calls Democrats some nasty names as well, so he’s probably beyond any control. Best thing to do, ignore him, don’t give his site the prestige that would come from getting more hits

Can I help put this behind us by asking a simple question? Even though it isn’t Virginia politics, I would really like to know BVBL take on the Lieberman/Lamont primary and what that would mean in November, in his most humble opinion. :)

Should we bring this to an end and just dismiss the crazed rantings of some psychotic liberal nut? That would be easier to do, if this pathetic individual who is making thinly-veiled death threats against my 18 month old daughter was not already motivated into action and armed with all of the information he would need in order to carry out his threat by Mr. Bouchillon. Although Mr. Bouchillon I am sure never intended to cause such personal danger to my family, it now appears that the end effect is has been to give the most unstable of the left-wing crazies the motivation and capability to harm my family.

I’m not the only blogger who has been subjected to this treatment from the far left. Michelle Malkin was threatened to the point she had to move from her home because of threats against her family such as the ones I have received. Fortunately in Virginia I enjoy certain rights which are unavailable to her as a resident of the liberal paradise of Montgomery County, MD., so perhaps I will not have to take that particular defensive measure. I don’t necessarily have to hide away and hope they don’t find me and my family.

I get to go home tonight and inform my wife that she needs to be armed with a defensive firearm in order to protect our children. I have to ask my employer for an exemption to company policy regarding the posession of firearms in the workplace so that I can maintain the ability to defend myself coming home from and going to work.

Just ignore him? What, are you going to protect my family for me?

Notice how the coward won’t allow you to comment on his post?

James, in that regard, I can agree that SOME Anon/Pseudonons are cowardly low-lifes. However, there is a benefit to being anon, that Kooks like the owner of that blog, or the whackjob who owns whackjob can’t post your name and address for the world to see, and endanger your family.

Greg…if you want to go to war with this guy, I am with you.

THe bottom line is, BVBL is really getting under these folks skin.

I think you are revelling in the victimhood a bit too much. Trying to keep it going, etc.

TCO since you don’t know what kind of threat have been thrown Greg’s way how can you justify what you just said?

If someone threatened my family, I would do what was necessary to protect my family. Greg also has the right to let the public know how some of these people are.

It would be interesting to know who gave the idiot at the site mentioned the photo of Gregs family.

Greg, I am sorry to hear that things have escalated to this point. I hope you have informed the police of the situation so they can help you and your family.

    Good luck and be careful.

I say it because I see it. He is the one keeping this thing going. Being the victim gives him some status. And when he does, it lowers my estimation of him and of how “hurt” he was.

    Oh…and Go Navy, Beat Army.

    Greg,

What is this sphinchter’s email address? I would like to send him something. Oh, TCO…I guess you told Greg…you schmuck! Let someone threaten your family, and see how you react. You’d probably have a massive liquid discharge in your Levis.

I suppose if I lived in a liberal area, I would be just as unhappy as that blogger is. Really, you can’t blame him that he was not exposed to right thinking folks at an earlier age.

    Maureen,
The photo of Greg L’s family is easily found by anyone who looks around Greg L’s website.

    Yin-Yang,
You can get that person’s email from their blog if you would just look around a bit. L has already emailed him and made the appropriate threats. The Cuss King responded by editing the post L was threatened by and posting a response. Very interesting reading.

RW: Are you implying that I somehow have been given my just desserts for engaging in political parody by possibly having my family threatened? And that it’s a moral thing to do to take someone’s vacation photo from a family geneaology site and use it to make disgusting attacks against that person? I’d just like to be clear about how you feel here. Somehow I think I’m missing something here.

Dude, although I think it is always wrong when people elevate blog wars to bringing in people’s families or their jobs and such…that “fuck liberal” was pretty funny. I liked his response, where he used your own words against you and told you to get the lawyer to send the cease and desist. Oh…and the part about the damn squiggly legal sign that he can’t find on the keyboard…

He is a deranged moonbat who cannot comprehend that attacking someone personally with their family vacation photos is vastly different than using public photos of candidates for office for political parody.

    He will.

    Greg L,

I did not appreciate the threats to you and your family. I can’t think of anything you could do to warrent Mr. Potty Mouth’s original post with it’s original language. It was over the top and uncalled for. Were that my family that was being talked about I would have been upset also. I was glad to see that it was toned down.

You can’t see the irony in what happened?

Mr. Potty Mouth used one of your photos and you didn’t like it. His response to you was the very same response you gave Greg B. You behaved poorly towards Greg B and now someone else is behaving poorly towards you. What goes around comes around.

TCO pretends to be a conservative on a lot of sites. I think he’s just a nut. But NOT a conservative. He/she/it spends A LOT of time attacking conservatives. And NEVER supporting except in some kind of backhanded passive/aggressive kind of way.
