"We have lost our ambition, our imagination, and our willingness to do the things that built the Golden Gate Bridge" - Barack Obama (aka President Malaise)

Feder Comes to Manassas, Becomes Invisible
By Greg L | 6 August 2006 | Manassas City, US Congress | 4 Comments

Judy Feder held an event Saturday evening in Manassas, and apparently the press didn’t show up, as there’s absolutely no coverage to be found. Her website has nothing about the event either. A friend of mine who intended to go to the event and provide a report ended up not being able to attend, so even our BVBL spies weren’t there. I imagine it’s wasn’t exactly a blockbuster of an event. I would have liked to seen some reports on the event, as she rarely fails to provide a treasure trove of inanities worthy of discussion.
Perhaps she shouldn’t have scheduled a campaign event at the same day as the African American Heritage Festival, a BRUU gay “marriage” rally, and a couple of other smaller events. I suppose it’s not unusual for one of her major campaign events to get drowned out, given the incompetence so far demonstrated by this campaign regarding anything other than out-of-state fundraising.
Maybe next time.

The usual response is “Sometimes I don’t,” but I don’t think that anyone there sometimes doesn’t feel like a nut.
Greg,
Where did you get the picture? I think it’s cute.
We were supposed to go to… not a stretch since we are Dems. I came home to get everyone ready to go and the kids were melting down, so we didn’t make it out. My significant other’s response was sort of telling. After campaigning for Socas, S.O. said “why are we going to spend some much time on someone that is going to lose?” While we don’t agree with Wolf’s politics, we have learned first hand this year that his constituent service work is second to none and he and his staffers are incredible kind and helpful. It is hard to muster the same enthusiasm against Wolf’s opponent this year.
I would imagine that after having spent so much money to robo-call apparently everyone in the Manassas area, somebody would have shown up. So far I can’t find anyone who did, and I’ve really been asking around.
HTS: This wonderful photo came from the flickr album she promotes on her campaign website. It’s a real treasure trove.
