The City has more money then at any time. We have had tax increases for at least the past 4 years, and low and behold, the MJM reported today, the City may have to raise taxes again this year. I'm just looking for utmost efficiency in our efforts. We are facing a very tough budget this year and, to the extent we can share the cost with the county, it would benefit all. Having said that, if the county decides that they aren't interested, we'll find the money to pay for it elsewhere in the budget. We're surrounded by the county and it just makes so much sense....
