Richard Hill, Fire Marshall for the City of Manassas was arraigned today on federal charges of soliciting a 16 year old Maryland girl for prostitution. Local broadcast media will have coverage tonight…
UPDATE: Hill plead guilty on April 18th to transporting an individual in interstate commerce for the purposes of prostitution.

This is not good for the City.
The news stated that he was the deputy/ assistant Fire Marshall. He went to the Motel 8 on route 28 behind the IHOP. If this wasn’t bad enough, he used his offical vehicle to meet her there.
Shame is he has 2 daughters of his own and a wife left to cope. They are the real victims here.
The irony is that some armed good sumeritan shooting a robber or two would do more the stop the problem than anything else. Those signs encourage the bad guys.
There is only one “L” in Marshal: FIRE MARSHAL is the correct spelling.
He is not and was not a fire marshal. He worked for the Department of Human Resources as a safety and hazmat officer. The supervisor of that department allowed it to get out that he was a fire marshal. I guess she didn’t want to take the heat so she allowed the good and honest employees of the fire marshal’s office to take the heat. She gives this man a huge raise to come back to the city, knowing he was a convicted felon as an arsonist and that him and his wife used to operate an “escort service” that he sut down because of questionable pratices yet she keeps her job. Maybe because she is a black female.
