At the Manassas GOP Christmas Party on Tuesday night 10th District Chairman Jim Rich awarded the Manassas GOP the “Best Local Committee” award to Chairman Steven Thomas and immiediate past chairman Tony Kostelecky. During a tough campaign season, Manassas City delivered a solid performance, and really set an example for how other committees can perform.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with many of these folks, and they certainly deserve every award they get. It’s a good group of hard-working folks who get along well, and they’ve been consistently winning. They’ve definitely earned this.

Also, at the close of the meeting, Steve Thomas resumed his duties as Vice Chairman, and Tony Kostelecky stepped back into the chairmanship. During his remarks, Steve recognized the executive committee, as they do the bulk of the heavy lifting in every election cycle. Manassas has a great team, and two great coaches. This award is a nice recognition of that.
