C'mon, Charles! Don't waste too much time on Chris. What he really meant was "you can't win on OUR issues," whatever they are. At least he was a little more honest about the need to control the terms of the debate.

And what is Jeff's issues that we are supposed to discuss? His lies about May's record, or the fact that Jeff Dion has no record at all, and at this point has given no indication what he plans to do if he is elected other than apparently being "against development" -- which is hardly a useful position to take since most development is by right and therefore has to be managed, not ignored.

Chris, if you go to my blog and read MY post, it was about how Jeff Dion himself was bringing his children into the campaign.

In addition, it notes that Jeff Dion essentially attacks his opponent for not having any children yet (the Mays are younger, recently married, and their first child is on the way).

It is Jeff Dion and his campaign that dragged his children into the race: "They've taught me that we all have a duty to make our community better," the 39-year-old Dion said.

Which I thought was funny. Here is a 39-year-old man, and he didn't know we had a duty to our community until his 6-year-old explained it to him. Oh, maybe it was his 12-year-old.

The reason I know anything about Jeff's kids is that Jeff Dion is using them as a front to deflect anybody from looking into his lifestyle. The newspaper obliges by mentioning the kids several times, repeating Dion's attacks on May for not javing children, and talking about Dion's living with his children without once mentioning the man he is sharing his house with. But the paper DOES say that May lives with his wife.

Yes, typical. We actually check campaign statements for accuracy and point out when there's sufficient reason to suspect that a candidate is lying.

This is typical of the GOP. You simply can't win on the issues so you resort to personal attacks. Amazing, bringing a candidates children into your attacks! I guess you guys will stoop to absolutely anything.

Now, they're attacking the messengers. Though Alice Marshall thinks its about panties. Perhaps she knows something else about Dion that we don't.

If Dion was a Republican and his campaign touted "He lives in Lake Ridge with his children.” the first thing the Donkocrats would do is check the State Sex Offender list for the "sake of the children."

I'm sure it's the former, although the kids provide a convenient excuse!

These posts may demonstrate that we're both losers who don't have anything better to do on New Year's Eve.

Or that we're both married with young children.
