Company C, 3-116th Infantry has been activated and is in Fort Dix preparing for an 18 month overseas deployment. This is a Manassas and Leesburg based National Guard unit, and part of the historic 29th Infantry Division (Light) which landed on D-Day in World War Two.
Good luck, Godspeed, and good hunting. We all hope to see your mission accomplished, your safe return, and are certain you will make us all very proud.

Company C served well in Afghanistan.. I wonder if it’s Iraq or Kosovo this time?
It’s Iraq. Only part of them have left. The rest will go soon, but I won’t tell the date due to Operational Security. You can probably find out elsewhere, but not from me.
