QMCB Raided For — Illegals???

I’m hearing that there was a big immigration raid at Quantico Marine Corps Base today where a contractor got nailed for employing illegal aliens to perform on a Department of Defense contract. Plenty of illegal aliens were detained in the raid, and there were a few other actions in the area.
I seem to recall that in order to get on post you had to pass a checkpoint where you had to provide identification. What the heck happened with the gate guards that allowed illegal aliens into a controlled-access military facility? Heads are going to roll.

I’m going to speculate. You can be an illegal and still have “identification”. You don’t have to be an american citizen to get onto the base, I don’t think. So long as each person had identification, like a drivers license, and it matched the list provided by the contractor, and the pictures were correct, I think that’s all that was needed.
Like I said, pure speculation.
I would have to agree with Charles on this.
But illegals aren’t supposed to have Virginia driver’s licenses. I suppose they could get a North Carolina one, since NC still gives licenses to illegal aliens. (Wonder why you used to see so many beaters around here with NC tags? Wonder no more.)
