Judy Hayes Passes Away
By Greg L | 6 February 2007 | Manassas City | 2 Comments
I’ve been informed that former Manassas City councilmember Judy Hayes passed away this morning. Judy was appointed to fill a council vacancy in 1999 when Doug Waldron stepped down form the council, and served until she was defeated in a convention by Maureen Wood last summer.

Judy was a wonderful woman and I am really sorry to hear this. She did a lot for Manassas and I wish her family well.
I hope you keep everyone posted about the arrangements.
My name is Ashleigh and I am Judy’s first grandchild. I just want to say thank you to everyone who came to pay their respects. She was a wonderful, beautiful, inspiring woman who I will never forget. I saw how amazing her funeral was and how many of you came to say goodbye. She will truely be missed and never forgotten. Thank you again.
