The MJM’s Promotion Of Illegal Aliens
By Greg L | 8 February 2007 | Illegal Aliens, Prince William County | 8 Comments
Yet another Journal-Messenger article has been published which looks more like a press release from Mexicanos Sin Fronteras than a discussion about the recent adoption by the Prince William County Board of Supervisors of a resolution to participate in the Section 287(g) Program. However at the end of the article is an important observation which should be troubling to the overwhelming majority of Prince Willliam County residents who believe, for example, that it’s a good idea to deport illegal aliens who have committed felonies rather than release them back into the community at the end of their sentence:
“No one at the meeting spoke in favor of the resolution.”
When the only citizens speaking out on the illegal immigration issue are representatives from Mexicanos Sin Fronteras, The Woodbridge Worker’s Committee, HOLA, Unity In The Community, and the Mexican Solidarity Front, perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising that the media ends up publishing stories that read like they were written by advocates for amnesty for illegal aliens. For the most part at these meetings, it’s only the elected officials who are available to counter the inanities of people such as Nancy Lyall, and elected officials aren’t going to take liberal activist groups to task and deliberately incite their ire. It might be fun to watch a county supervisor put a liberal nutjob in their place, but it’s not their job, and it would be inappropriate.
In this case, we’re asking the county supervisors to carry the full burden of fighting for a policy the citizens overwhelmingly support. They’ll support these policies, as it’s good politics to follow what the electorate clearly wants, but they will not, and should not have to battle against Mexicanos Sin Fronteras in a public relations battle on our behalf. Elected officials are not grassroots policy advocates. What we need is a grassroots organization which will counter the illegal immigration apologists and not leave them as the only voices other than elected officials who will weigh in on illegal immigration policy.
Hopefully that will soon change. I’ve organized a meeting this Saturday evening for a small group of concerned citizens to meet with folks from Help Save Herndon, Help Save Loudoun and the Virginia chapter of the Minutemen Defense Corps, learn from their experience, and begin the process of establishing a group in Prince William County and the localities within it which will be able to fight the battle we’ve been absent from for so long. Perhaps the days of Mexicanos Sin Fronteras being the only voice that makes it into the local papers, or is heard in front of the Board of Supervisors and City Council are numbered, and citizens will soon have an effective means of having their interests promoted before the various local governing bodies and in the local media.
You can’t win the battle if you don’t show up for it.

I hope you have informed the police department of this meeting, for representatives from Mexicanos Sin Fronteras, The Woodbridge Worker’s Committee, HOLA, Unity In The Community, and the Mexican Solidarity Front will surely cause problems, if they find out where it is being held.
I’m sure you will now be accused of inciting racial hatred in the Pr. Wm. area.
They’ll have plenty of opportunity to cause whatever mischief they want in a few weeks when a public meeting is held. If they want to cause problems at a small private meeting like this one, it’s just going to make them look pretty foolish.
Having gone though the first parts of what you are facing! I understand only too well the people that can themselves anything OTHER than American! Our Village meeting on Oct 3rd, 2006 in Carpentersville, IL had almost 3000 demostrators! In the meetings since then, ZERO! The ordinance they did not want was tabled and there it lays! Not enough votes to bury it and not enough to bring it back to life as it should be! This is still our land and our laws.
NO matter what they call the organisation, they are after America! They want to own it on the backs of illegals! I used to have Mexicans that I could talk too, not anymore! I used to work in MY yard and share a beer, not anymore!
Have your private meeting! If they try to interfere, have them arrested for trespass! Have a written lease for the property and wording excluding those that you don’t want! Police are an option, although useless unless they are trained by the Federal government. They will come under harrassment calls, if they don’t have the training. We had five different towns that lost portions of their protection for a few hours on the 3rd of October, because of Hispanics protecting the “rights” of illegals!

That is CALL
oooppps
Greg,
The COMPOST has an article in today’s edition regarding the meeting. However, like the MJM, the COMPOST was more interested in what the illegals supporters had to say rather then the actual meeting.
I had to laugh at the MJM’s article about how “youths are joining gangs because of immigration enforce activities”. Of course, the only evidence it offers is the statements by pro-illegal aliens activists. They quote no polling data or scientific edivence. What ever happenned to a thing called journalism where a report sought evidence of a story and then did an independent analysis to determine the truth? I guess it is easier and more policitcally correct to simply qoute the activists that you favor and call it a day without further research. Why doesn’t MJM replace its staff with all illegal aliens and print in Spainish? It seems be heading that way.
Well actually Dittyman, the MJM HAS such a story (evidence, independent analysis, etc.) and they’ve been sitting on it for about a month, refusing to let the reporter publish…the Rack N’Roll story, of course. It would seem that in their attempts to annoy no one they are annoying everyone. Good way to alienate your readership.
those who make the loudest cry gets the grub! the time has come to stand up and make a louder cry from the east to the west and the north to the south. want to know more about the private meeting and when is the public meeting!!
