Statewide 287(g) Killed By Senate
By Greg L | 15 February 2007 | Virginia Senate | 6 Comments
The Senate Courts of Justice committee killed (passed by indefinitely) Delegate Frederick’s (with incorporations from Delegate Jackson Miller) HB 1618 which would have directed the Governor to enter into a Memorandum Of Understanding with the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in order to participate in the Section 287(g) Program. This is an utter outrage.
Voting to kill the legislation were Senators Stolle, Saslaw, Marsh, Quayle, Howell, Lucas, Edwards, Reynolds, Puller, Rerras, Blevins. Those who aren’t in favor of releasing criminal illegal aliens back into society were Senators Cuccinelli, Obenshain, and McDougle. Make sure you contact these three and thank them for trying to protect your families and communities before you round up the tar and feathers for the other eleven. We need to burn down the Senate this election, and those folks are at the very top of my hit list.
I am convinced that the only way to have a better Virginia is to burn down the Senate, keeping a small number of the folks who don’t have their heads firmly planted in their posteriors, and laying waste to the rest. Every single one of these abominations need to be defeated.
UPDATE: The Manassas Journal-Messenger reports that Delegate Frederick’s HB2448 was also killed by this same Senate committee. That bill would have required that we identify who among current inmates in state prison are illegal aliens. Those voting to continue deliberate ignorance are as follows:
YEAS–Stolle, Saslaw, Marsh, Quayle, Howell, Lucas, Edwards, Reynolds, Puller, Rerras, Blevins, McDougle–12.
NAYS–Cuccinelli, Obenshain–2.
Once again, Senators Cucinelli and Obenshain desrve our thanks, and the rest a big heaping dose of scorn.

It is good to know who in our GA supports criminal activity and who does not. Should those that support criminal activity, who know what criminal activity is going on, really be able to hold office? In a way, they are aiding and abetting these criminals by refusing to do anything about them.
MUCHACHOS,
Senador Stolle is a “puerco”. Z will work to defeat him. Senador Saslaw is also a “puerco”. Z wants him defeated too. Does’t VCDL have some headquarters or leaders in Fairfax where Senador Saslaw has a gas station business at the corner of Backlick and Braddock Roads? Is VCDL going to get the word out about “puerco” Saslaw in Fairfax? VCDL could help, No?
Beware When The Moon Shines Bright.

I’m presuming these people do not want to be re-elected. The best way to show ones displeasure, is to get them out of office!
While it is not mentioned in this story, I wonder if the suspect is an illegal? It may come out at a later date. If he is, I wonder what the supporters of him that are in the Senate would say?
A hit and run in Anne Arundel County Friday night has killed one woman.
The suspect, Jose Santos Toledo, was found near the scene of the accident with visible injuries.
Santos was determined to be the driver of the 1996 Green Saturn which struck the unidentified pedestrian, and remains in custody at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center with minor injuries.
Santos has been charged with multiple offenses including leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Jumpers Hole Road in Glen Burnie, Md. at 11:30p.m., according to Anne Arundel Police.
The Anne Arundel police are investigating witness accounts that a small dark colored S.U.V. later struck the unidentified woman while she was lying in the road.

This blows my mind! How can those people choose to not implement this legislation? Are they on the take from corporations that want the cheap labor? Do their constituents REALLY want illegals running wild in their neighborhoods and these senators just support the views of the people that elected them? Do they really want to pay the increased taxes to support illegals with ESOL programs, health care coverage, overcrowding issues, traffic congestion, etc, etc? Sure the legislation is really for nabbing the ones who have committed a crime, but it would have the added benefit of scaring many if not all of the others off as well.
What would be the reason for them not wanting to jump on board with this? I want to keep an open mind before I choose to let these senators know how I feel about their choice and about the chances for their further employment with the state.
Part of the problem is the Senators from Northern VA, are more liberal, and of course represent the more liberal area of the State. Liberals do not mind paying more in taxes to pay for their pet social programs. The same liberals also views illegals as cheap domestic help and also a way to help out the “diversity” of America.
There are some republicans who also see cheap labor, and future GOP voters. For some reason the powers that be in the GOP seem to think hispanics are the prefect voter based on the notion hispanics have great family ties and therefore are more conservative. Well, reality says another thing.
Statics bear out hispanics in this Country have a very high out of wedlock birth rate, drop out of high school at a higher rate, and based on the fact it seems that hispanics are at the front of the pack leading the calls for amnesty for illegals, have a soft spot for criminals. Now, you tell me after putting those items together, how that makes for a good GOP voter.
So, at least on this issue, it can make for some strange bed partners, which makes it tough for us.
