Jackson Miller Unopposed
By Greg L | 2 March 2007 | 50th HOD District | 9 Comments
The filing deadline for candidates for the Republican nomination for the 50th District has passed, and Jackson Miller was the only candidate to file. Having a primary challenge might have slightly improved the slim chances for a Democrat such as Jeanette Rishell, as it would have diluted the fundraising advantage that Republicans have in the district. Now the presumed Democrat has an additional hurdle in that Delegate Jackson Miller will not have to split campaign contributions with a Republican challenger between now and June as he did last year.

I will support Miller with a contribution (slim as I am a bit house poor right now) and many many phone calls to the several people I know who still live in Manassas and Manassas Park.
This man must be re-elected for actually doing what he said he was going to do in Richmond.
I encourage everyone who cares about the third world invasion of the United States of America to send Miller a campaign contribution.
That is good news, although I did not expect Miller to have a challenger. He has been very effective as a freshman Delegate, getting several peices of legistlation passed in the House (too bad our weak Senate couldn’t have passed it as well). Not only does he have this, but he is the incumbent. Rishell is the best opponent Miller could hope for. She will be even easier to beat this time around.
Greg, Thanks for the post. I am very thankfull that the Republican Party is unified behind my candidacy. I had a good session in Richmond and look forward to returning for a full term.
It will not be easy. Ive already started the groundwork for my campaign and need all the support I can get.
Batson, thanks for you generous words but remember I cannot be overconfident. Neither can my supporters. It is NEVER easy to win a campaign.
Fenian, Ill take you at your word.

Greg, I hop you dont mind the plug. Like I said, Im swinging into campaign mode.
I still have my “Jackson Miller for Delegate” sticker on my car from last year…. I was thinking of taking it off, but will keep it on, unless you plan to change the color and or style of them.
I was hoping he would be unopposed. Also, I’m with citizen. Keep your bumper sticker so I don’t have to change it…:)
Jackson,
Congrats. You’ll be getting almost all of my pol. contribution budget. And if Rishell thinks she’s getting a pass on some of her links to the real WACKOS she’s pals with…she better have her kevlar underwear on during this next election.
Best regards,

Jackson, you know how to keep a perspective on campaigning.
To be overconfident quickly accelerates the arrogant and cocky attitudes we see so often in modern mans politicans. So we applaud you and will model your strength of humility. And, is there a new website up and running for the campaign yet?
lindell running an 08 campaign too?
Wait, wait, wait…the filing deadline CAN’T have passed…we still haven’t heard from Steve!
