If Marty sits this cycle out because of his wife’s pregnancy then Tom should wait his turn to run for Coles and fulfill his duties as Chairman.

LIngamfelter is not going for the 28th senate seat, which is already a crowded field, and Scott has personal reasons for staying where he is that I find entirely credible, if not laudable.

If the decision is about whether Scott is moving to the Senate, no one is going anywhere.

The missing link to the Nohe / Kopko race is Chichester. His resignation has been imminent for some time now. Scott Lingamfelter wants that seat and Marty wants Scott’s Delegate seat. Marty hasn’t announced, Kopko is waiting it out to see what he does. If Marty’s job of choice is now available then Kopko seizes the opportunity.

Mr. Kopko is obviousley surrounded by a group of “yes men” if he thinks he can beat Nohe in a primary. He possibly could have won in a convention, if and only if all of the stars were alligned just right.

I dont live in Coles but some people I have spoken with have said that Nohe is probably the best constituant services member of the BOS.

Primary? Kopko loses easy. Kopko, get some advice from ouside of your inner-circle. Then youll see the light.

Kopko will announce one way or the other this Friday the 16th. He may decide to continue decimating the PWCRC until it gets to a level of his management capability and not get wiped out by Marty.

Hey BVBL I notice 175 views to this thread. 2 things, 1. tons of people are interested in this race and are realizing that Nohe will kill Kopko, or 2. Kopko is checking this thread every couple of minutes to watch his political ambitions burn up like a bonfire.

Every one who knows Marty Nohe knows that he will be outworked by no one on the campaign trail. These endorsements only solidify his standing as the strong favorite in this race. Why would Tom Kopko want to risk a promising political future by relinquishing his chairmanship and having his head handed to him in a primary race? If he has any sense, he will exercise a little patience and wait for a better opportunity to present itself.

That should be this past Thursday he had the meeting, which would explain what you wrote about Thursday in the original post. I don’t think there is any delay in announcement.

Tom Kopko needs to start fighting for Chairman again (if he wants it)….because he just demonstarted to the world that either he’s bored with it or doesn’t understand what his job is….sad
