Appeals Committee Upholds RPV Ruling

I just received word that the RPV decision to vacate the convention call issued by the Loudoun County Republican Committee has been upheld by the appeals committee. As of now the convention call will have to be re-done, and delegate filings will be reopened, unless the convention is scrapped in favor of a “Firehouse Primary”.
More on this as it develops.
UPDATE: Too Conservative reports that the decision was unanimous, and points to an article in Leesburg Today about the decision.

Thanks for helping to bring this situation to light, BVBL. I’m now hearing that the LCRC may file suit against RPV. Unbelievable.
That is utterly insane, but it just might be enough to get Jim Rich to actually step in and clean this mess up. I’ve heard that Jim moves at “North Atlantic Convoy Speed” on issues like these, but I would imagine if they provoke him sufficiently, he’ll finally jump in.
Let’s hope so.

Sorry for the double post, but I thought of something else.
I wish I could believe that he is acting with the zeal of a convert. It is much more likely, however, that he is simply acting with the opportunism and scruples-of-convenience of a political hack.
Are you referring to the RPV Appeals Committee , also?
They know that the Loudoun LCRC is like a cancer, and left unchecked, it could even influence the National election for Virginia in 2008, you silly nilly.
