So strange... As for support in Gainesville, the last I heard the Gainesville District Committee was trying to kick him out. Maybe that has changed. I had heard the reason he was looking at running in Woodbridge is because that is the only part of the PWCDC that still supports him. If no one else steps up for the Democratic nod in the 29th he has a chance. Whoever the Republican candidate is in November would clobber him though... This is all assuming Bruce stays fixated on Bob Marshall. During the contest for Chair of BOCS against Pandak, he only carried Gainesville by a handful and Woodbridge. To beat Bruce in a convention, Gary would have to make very significant inroads in Dumfries, Brentsville and Coles which is very unlikely. Gary is a pariah in the PWCDC and his behavior last year solidified people's feelings for him. In the end this is academic. Bruce won't change gears and Colgan will beat Gary in a nominating contest.
