An Unexpected Message

I’ve been the president of Help Save Manassas for about two weeks now. Some of what has happened in this short time I’ve expected — lots of details, calls, meetings and a ton of emails I all knew would be required. I expected to get called names fairly often. I even thought I would hear a lot of personal stories from people about their experience with illegal aliens. But I didn’t expect to hear anything like this.
Last night I got an email from a mother who lost their son. Just the notion of losing a child under any circumstances is enough to make any parent shudder, but when that son is brutally murdered by a group of MS-13 gang members, which his mother believes included illegal aliens, it’s enough to make my skin crawl. The death of Charles Angelos, Jr. was reported by the local media with an incomprehensible deference to the suspects in this case, never mentioning that this young man was chased down by a gang, badly beaten and then stabbed eight times, or that after being mortally wounded Charles dragged himself through a gate and up the back stairs of a neighbor’s house before succumbing to his wounds on their back porch. They do not mention that the suspects in the case were members of MS-13, or what legal status they had in the United States. What happened recently in Virginia Beach was a terrible tragedy, but this brazen intentional murder right here in Manassas is a complete outrage.
All of a sudden the door to that townhouse opened and a gang of 15-20 MS-13’s ran out with bats, bottles and knives. Vincent [who escaped] screamed “RUN!” Vincent and Anthony [another who escaped] ran one direction, only one guy chased them for 15-20 seconds and turned around, 1/2 of the others chased my son, the other 1/2 of that savage gang demolished my sons truck with machetes and bats. They caught my son behind the townhouses in that very small cul-de-sac. They stabbed him FOR NO REASON 8 times and beat him terribly. My sweetheart endured all that and did not die immediately. He crawled to the back of a townhouse opened the gate and crawled up the back stairs of an old lady’s house, I guess trying to get help, and I guess my sweetheart just couldn’t make it any more. Prince William County police did not find my son until 9am when another phone call came in that a person dead was in a back yard. We cannot begin to tell you our heartbreak and concern why he wasn’t found much earlier….and why illegal aliens continue to come into our country and wreak havoc.
I cannot imagine being a parent who might have to write a message like this. I could never have imagined I would even receive a message like this. It rips at my guts to think of some nice young man being run down and hacked to near-death by a bunch of predators in such a manner. And it stuns me that this would happen in Manassas.
But it makes me glad that I can be one of the people who stepped up to get messages like these, and have committed myself to doing something about horror stories such as these. Although messages like these aren’t what I expected, someone needs to be getting them, and it might as well be me.

I know sometimes you and I have had differences of opinion, but on this subject I am all for going after the SOB’s as hard as possible.

May God bless your family and help in the healing. I hope that those responsible recieve the harshest penalty allowed. I know that it seems like you will never heal, but my father was murdered many years ago, and I can tell you the pain will subside. I will pray for you and your family.

I read about your son in the paper. Thank you for sharing your personal account with us. I too am so sorry for your loss. I actually cried when I read this post. No one should have to go through this, no one.
If people would stand up and demand something be done about the illegal aliens in the area this kind of tragedy wouldn’t be occurring.
Once again I am sorry for your loss and hope that we as a community can help eradicate this blight in the Greater Manassas area and eventually in all of America.

I don’t have access to email on this computer, but I hope you see this post. This is one of the most heinous crimes that could take place. That it was done by an illegal alien, who never should have been here in the first place is even more horrendous. Take a look.
