Messier’s Mess Of A Campaign Account

Prince William County Sheriff candidate Mike Messier has submitted one of the more amusing campaign finance reports I’ve seen recently. Filing his paperwork two days after the deadline had expired, he’s reporting a whopping $2,477 in his campaign account. It’s bad enough that someone who is claiming to be a good candidate to lead the Sheriff’s Department can’t manage to file a campaign finance report on time, but when the report shows he spent more than twice as much money as he raised this period, you’ve got to wonder what he would do to the Sheriff’s Department, if elected.
Messier managed to raise $3,275 this period and spent $7,397. In his earlier report he raised $36,799, which just might indicate his campaign is somewhat off track. Among his larger contributors is an Operations Officer with the Norfolk Police Department who seems to remind me of someone who posted anonymously on this site for some time calling Glen Hill “corrupt” and “a thug”. No one from the Prince William County Sheriff’s Department contributed to his campaign, but he does have a few Fairfax County Deputies who have helped him out.
Messier has gone on somewhat of a spending spree this cycle, and has been handing out small contributions to other Republican candidates in the county and the local Republican Women’s clubs. Perhaps the County Republican Committee should feel wronged a little bit, because the contributions he promised to members of the committee were contingent on him winning the race. Everyone else seems to get a little money up front.
This “law and order” candidate held a “Meet and Greet” event at O’Meara’s Irish Pub in Manassas, spending $992, which seems like an unusual choice off locations. While Glen Hill won’t serve alcohol at his family friendly functions, Messier is dropping almost a grand at the biggest hotspot of activity for undercover officers of the Joint Narcotics Task Force, and the place which appears to have racked up the greatest number of underage drinking fines of any establishment in the city. How exactly does a campaign with such little support manage to spend almost $1,000 in a bar, anyways? The only campaign contributions recorded on that day are from three retired persons and amount to $700, so it doesn’t seem that the event was very successful from a fundraising perspective.
He can’t file required reports on time, he can’t seem to manage his money, and he thinks it’s a good idea to hold fundraisers for retired folks at what is rumored to be the local hotspot for illegal narcotics. And he wants to he our Sheriff.
Oh, please Lord, make this stop…
CORRECTION: Messier filed his original report on-time on April 12th. He then amended the report on the 18th. OK, so he can at least file paperwork on time.

Actually, he mixed up the envelops and sent his campaign finance report to the IRS, and his tax-return to the SBE.
Pitiful. Greg L, if and when you get weary of bashing Mike
Messier, and are willing to take a break from pimping for
Glendell Hill, you might find the decency to explore the Hill
financial report (since you are so interested in the Messier
filing) and discover the loans that Hill has made to himself!
I am totally amazed that you have failed to mention this, but
of course, that would be out of character for your pimping
agenda, now wouldn’t it?
Considering what the Messier family has been through this
week, having a daughter at Virginia Tech and then having
your venomous dribble splashed on your amusing website
just goes to show what kind of pathetic person you are. I can
only hope that Mike and his family have not tuned in because
I think they’ve suffered enough.
Considering how you think about homosexuals, why don’t you
contact Janice Hetzel, phone 540-272-XXXX (this is a FIRED
deputy who ratted out gay deputies who were having sexual
encounters in the COURT HOUSE!!!!!!) quid pro quo ….keep
your mouth shut about the department and we’ll allow you
to put in for “retirement”. She was fired from the PWCPD and
sued (and won) for harassment but was hired by Collier (her
savior). So you see, Greg, there’s soooo much that you don’t
know! Since you insist on putting your dribble out there, make

What a crock, Greg. You didn’t bother to mention Hill’s report
which shows 20,000. in loans to himself. Hmmmm….how much has he collected in contributions?
And on the subject of Hill’s “kick-off”, how convenient for
Collier to get up and tell a bold face lie about the guy caught
with Stoffy badge. Collier should know better than to do some-
thing so lame.
You should contact Janice Hetzel @540-272-XXXX (or 540-
347-XXXX) who can give you the low-down. Since you are so
busy pimping for Hill, of course, you won’t do it.

How is it that you know the particulars about that incident? Were you the person involved? Otherwise I can’t see how you can credibly have any basis at all for calling Major Collier a liar.
By the way, why post under different names? Are you trying to make it look like there are more people engaged in this baseless smear campaign of Glen Hill than there really are?
No siree, it was not I who was involved in that incident, but
if Collier wants to prove he’s not the liar that I (and others)
know him to be, he shouldn’t have any trouble producing the
report as well as the name of the person involved.
As for posting under different names, no siree. Several people
has access to this computer. Baseless smear campaign against
Glendell Hill? He’s his own best smearer.
Is this true? Not only does Glendell allow homosexual activity to go on in the courthouse but he also protects it? Do you know?

Is this the ex-deputy who lives in Norfolk, or the ex-deputy who lives in Ohio making these accusations.

It seems to be a deputy who reported the activity she observed to the sheriff, who inturn fired her.
