I read the WTOP article and I have to say that the preliminary research I have done, indicates that citizens at large, whether White, Black or Hispanic are relieved when the 287G programs are instituted in their communities. NO ONE wants criminals amongst themselves, which a sanctuary city will enable to happen on an even larger scale than is happening now.

If D.C. proceeds to become a sanctuary city we should call for a boycott. When their revenue falls, maybe they will listen to the LEGAL residents of the United States and not the special interest groups.

They are trying to legitimize illegals with the phrasing they use.

Washington DC police Chief thinks illegals should be able to roam free in the City without any worries. Remember that the next time she talks “tough” on crime. Could she get away with saying this about any other criminal activity?

Her opinion is exactly why I think we have already lost this fight. I guess diversity tops public safety. Horrible.

Those that support illegal immigration lump all immigrants into the same group on purpose not only to muddy the water, but also to be able to cast anybody as being anti-illegal immigration as being anti-immigration in general.

Which of course makes it easier for them to lobby on behalf of illegals, and cast anyone who against immigration as being a racist or bigot. They realize in order to gain support with elected officials and the public they have to be dishonest.

Two things.

The pro illegal alien groups are going to try and push for santuary city’s here in Virginia. I have heard talk of this a few times now.

I have a big problem with these pro illegal alien groups not making a distinction between illegal and LEGAL immigrants. They try to muddy the water this way and they are only hurting the legal immigrants by doing this. When this happens, the general public starts to lump all immigrants into the ILLEGAL category and that definitely is not fair to them.

This is not a bad thing…perhaps this will discourage the flow of illegals into the Commonwealth.

Meanwhile this morning on the radio I heard about some immigrant “leaders” demanding the DC become a santuary city a la San Francisco and badmouthing our great commonwealth for not being as welcoming to the immigrant community as we should be.

I’ll be at the meeting tonite. I’ve been a Manassas resident for 34 years. The illegals have trashed and degraded our city and neighborhoods…we MUST take action!

I knew that Bob Clark was recently killed in an auto crash but I did not realize that it was an illegal that murdered him. Not a peep of that was mentioned in any of the news reports….
