The republican train wreck coming down the track is the more dems learn about Gill and who he funneled money to will come back to haunt them. It could mean the end of a couple high level state republicans. The dems would be stupid not to use that info.

The most effective ad campaign that Dion could ever have would be three words: "Google Faisal Gill." However, it should be focused on Dem voters. Otherwise you are increasing Faisal's name recognition.

If the Dem base "googles Faisal Gill" and reads about Alamoudi and Gill, Norquist and Gill, maybe even reckless driving and Gill then they will tell others who will tell others.

The great thing is that Michelle Malkin's attack on Gill always comes up on the first page. Not even head cases who support Gill can claim that Malkin is a leftist.

I asked Brian Moran about HOD-51 online at the Washington Post a few months ago. He said that HOD-51 figured prominently in his plans to take back the House of Delegates.

The Dems spent $300,000 in Mark Sickles' Fairfax County district to take back the seat from a weakened Republican incumbent. It appears that there is a possibility that Gill could be the Republican nominee, which will make the seat Democratic.

You can bet that the Dems will put up a nominee in HOD-51, and the few thousand that it takes to hold a convention won't matter.
