Gay Thursday In Jeopardy

Gay Thursday in Manassas just got a whole lot less interesting.
Sharpshooters, which has been diving to the bottom of the barrel just as fast as it can in order to actually become a profitable business, has been bringing in rap “artists” to do live shows in addition to it’s “Gay Thursday” promotion. The only problem is that many of these “artists” tend to bring along their own entourages which sometimes can cause trouble. For about the past five weekends there have been violent disturbances which have required a strong police response. About a week ago, the police raided the establishment during one of these shows, and apparently carted away quite a few of these fine tourists, which ultimately led to the entertainment permit for the establishment being revoked.
No more live shows, no more DJs. Although the webpage promoting “Gay Thursday” still talks about fabulous dancing and DJs, that’s not happening any more. The establishment is circulating a somewhat strange petition to try to have the permit reinstated:

SHARP SHOOTERS has been order by the county to remove all entertainment in the bar.

If this comes up for a public hearing, which I doubt, it would be interesting to attend. This place seems to have no qualms about making a public nuisance of itself and is rumored to be run by an asian organized crime syndicate. I don’t think I’ll be too disappointed if this business folds.

Darn! I guess Bruce Rommelt will need to find another venue for his fundrasiers.
I was going to make a comment about the poor grammar and spelling in the petition, but then I remembered what “establishment” it was coming from.
