Get The Eagles On TV
By Greg L | 9 May 2007 | Manassas City | 6 Comments
Our very own Osbourn Eagles have an opportunity to have their next varsity baseball game televised on Fox 5’s High School Game of the Week, but only if you visit the Fox 5 website and vote. Last year we supported the football team right up to and through the state championship. Let’s show that same dedication for our baseball players.
UPDATE: Voting is closed and we won! Highlights will be on Fox 5’s evening broadcast at 10PM this Friday. Thanks to all who participated.

Too bad they’re game last night wasn’t the game chosen for television. Battlefield defeated Osbourn in a terrific ball game played by both teams all the way to the end.
The Bobcats had previously blown a lead going into the end the game to the Eagles two weeks ago, but not this time. Each time the Eagles came on, Battlefield either shut Osbourn down leaving several men on base or the tying run at the plate, or responded with runs of their own the following at bat.
The final score was 7-5. Osbourn is or was in the Wash Post’s top-25, and sustained only their 2nd loss of the season. The Bobcats are in 2nd place behind the Eagles.
Congrats to a strong game by Battlefield, and hats off to Osbourn for not giving up when down 6 to 1.
Guess what? Osbourn/Stonewall’s game has moved from 34% to 36%. Keep on voting!
Heard they won the game of the week
An Eagle Fan
That’s great news! Do I get free front-row seats at the game now?
It appears BVBL’s push might have made the difference
in a close race - Osbourn vs. Stonewall Jackson beat
the game that came in second - 45.4% vs. 44.8%.
Once again, every vote counts.
Go EAGLES!!
Just returned from the game - OHS won 10-4!
The Eagles victory will look great on Fox.
( AND the Lady Eagles won their softball game!)
GO Osbourn!
