Maybe the USA should be putting Moore into a mental institution. I lived in Cuba for three years and they are scared to death of Castro. The only reason these people "volunteer" to show up at political events or to harvest sugar cane is because their lives are threatened. As told to me, "we'll be found dead on our wive's doorstep" if they don't volunteer. They have to sit right next to their radios and TVs with volume on super low (listening to outside news sources) so their neighbors don't turn them in for subversive action.

Greg, La Gloria Cubana's are all Dominican, rolled primarily in Miami by Ernesto Perez-Carillo (well, his company, anyway). Had the pleasure of meeting him last April at an event for the 35th anniversary of the Old Virginia Tobacco Company.

Chris, I'm pretty sure you're wrong about that. Last time I was in Buffalo, I drove over to Canada. When I returned, I was asked. Perhaps the border guard didn't get the memo.

Having experience in this, there is only one way to violate our embargo--that is bringing in cigars directly from Cuba. If you bought Cuban cigars anywhere in the world other than Cuba and bring them in--you're fine. Trust me, I know these things I was in Cuba three years ago and did my homework. My folks live in Israel and when I vistied I bought some Cubans legally, and brought them back legally. In a way, its almost like money laundering.

Just tremendous.

You have to love the fact that he delivered this response with a cigar in his mouth, given that was what Moore used to attack him.

Its like one big middle finger.
