"""You guys are getting so desperate it’s funny. “Vote Julie, she’s not a terrorist”."""

Maybe some of us prefer not to get blown up.

Faisal is a former chief lobbyist for a terrorist named Abdurahman Alamoudi. Faisal's resume, even the name of his law firm, has omissions designed to cloud his relationship with Alamoudi and with the slippery Asim Ghafoor.

It seems that Faisal's law partner Ghafoor (whose name is left out of his firm's name, wonder why?) was under anti-terrorist surveillance while he represented a Specially Designated Terrorist Entity called al-Haramain. Ghafoor is now suing claiming that his rights, but not those of America's terrorist victims, were violated.

Faisal is an unprecedentedly lousy candidate, with holes in his resume big enough to drive a truck bomb through. It is absolutely appropriate for us to raise this matter. Indeed, it is unpatriotic not to.

For god's sake Charles,

Follow a thread. Follow a concept. Ham Sandwich is running for Commonwealth Attorney.

If you can't even follow that, how do you expect anyone to believe you can follow the simplest things about Gill's background. That's right, you can't. You've got a big man-crush.

You guys are getting so desperate it's funny. "Vote Julie, she's not a terrorist". You should print up bumper stickers.

I've heard Julie Lucas is a fine person with many wonderful qualities. Not here of course, here she has no supporters, just people who seem to be scared to death of the muslim terrorist supporter and would vote for a Ham Sandwich just to keep him from winning a nomination.

But Julie is better than a Ham Sandwich. It's just too bad her supporters can't think of anything nice to say about her other than "she's not Faisal".

Mayby John Light could take his own advice and post something nice about her for a change.

BTW, I'm not taking JL up on HIS challenge because I said I'm staying neutral on the race, although you all make it hard to keep that position.

Mr. Gill has been associated with terrorists and their defenders for seven years. He can no longer claim ignorance as an excuse or being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Mr. Gill's law firm is allegedly suing to protect suspected terror groups.
Mr. Gill's partner is allegedly trying to shake down the federal government for one million dollars by suing and risking further disclosure of NSA programs to track terrorists.

Why is Gill's law firm hampering Unites States of America war on terror?

http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2007/03/72811

In the war on terror there are two sides. The United States of America and islamic radical terrorists and the supporting organizations.

Allegedly, Mr Gill and his law firm are defending groups with ties to terrorists who want to blow up the White House, Pentagon, Homeland Security, FBI, DIA, the Capitol where many of the constituents of the 51st district work.

Actually I want to hear from the endorsers who support Gill. They are using their public good will to help push the candidacy of Gill, they have the obligation to explain their position.

Do they really want to put their good names behind someone whose law
firm currently represents alleged terror suspects. Further, do they want to associate with possible alleged suspects of leaking top secret information which hampered the war on terror?

You know who I REALLY want to start hearing from??? Gill supporters who live in the 51st!!! All I want to hear from them is why they believe that Faisal would be a better Delegate than the Honorable Julie Lucas, Neabsco District School Board Member.

And it would ALSO be nice if Jonathan Mark would stay on message (wink).

Unfortunately, we talk about it (to ourselves) here, but the typical voter doesn't follow local politics...much less, research the candidates. There must be some way to get the word out to that voter who simply does not know.

I put up a new post, and did one earlier, but Greg has been at the forefront of this, along with Jonathan Mark. As my name implies, I'm pretty focused on Loudoun County, but this whole saga is really unbelievable. As far as this being purely a hit job by Greg because of the Chapman lawsuit, that's an absolute bunch of crap. If there was nothing here, then we could be upset with greg, but there is WAY too much to be concerned about. I don't care who brought it to our attention, but this needs to be widely disseminated.

If you REALLY want to make a difference, contact the Lucas campaign, doorknock for her, and sign up Delegates. We all know that Kopko has done everything in his power to secure the Convention for Faisal, but let's beat him at his own game.

Our country is at war and people like Faisal, Tom, et.al are actually working for the OTHER SIDE!!!

Sign up Delegates for the convention. Yes, the Lucas campaign would LOVE your money but more than anything they need delegates. Show up with your "Google Faisal Gill" t-shirts, show up with your neighbors, friends, church members. But PLEASE get out there and help Ms. Lucas knock on the doors and get people signed up. It's not that difficult and I am sure that you can even do the buddy system if you are nervous about knocking on peoples doors.

Insider, we need to see some more about this race on TC! If all people are going to do about it is blog, that's sad, but let's at least get this to be a serious issue on more than just one or two blogs...

For the love of GOD, why are Republicans not MARCHING IN THE STREETS, demanding that Gill step down??? It doesn't matter how many facts about how horrible Gill is we put up here, people have to DO SOMETHING! Somebody start a meeting, reach out to the Lucas campaign and offer help, whatever we need to do but we can't let Gill buy or cheat his way to the nomination!

Looks like Faisal Gill's law firm is fighting the war on terror but for the other side. Who would be evil enough to leak the wire tap information when we are trying to catch terrorists that want to blow up Washington D.C. and many constituents of the 51st district who work in DC and the Pentagon.

And do you know what Ghafoor's line is that he uses to justify his actions ...

"It's just guilt by association."

Ah, doesn't that line sound familiar ... why yes, yes it does. It is the sound bite used to defend Gill.

I remember my mother telling me decades ago to take great care in all that I did because "you will always be judged by the company you keep."

I've also learned that, without fail, I can ascertain one's character by looking at the people with whom one chooses to surround oneself.

There is reason to suspect that Corey Stewart may be representing the same type of terrorist clients as Asim Ghafoor. That may partly explain why Stewart is backing Gill so strongly.

Asim Ghafoor is one of Gill and Gallinger's three partners. From http://gillgallinger.com :

"Gill & Gallinger was created by the 2006 merger of the Washington, DC based firm of
Gill & Ghafoor and the Irvine, CA based Law Offices of Todd Gallinger...Asim Ghafoor is a partner with the firm."

If you wonder who Gill's law partner Asim Ghafoor represents, look no further. Ghafoor's clients have included the international fugitives Pete Seda and Soliman Al-Buthe. From the WCBS website ( http://www.wcbs880.com/pages/10966.php?contentType=4&contentId=106968 ):

Islamic Charity Leaders File Suit Over Illegal Wiretaps

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Civil rights attorneys sued the National Security Agency on Tuesday, claiming it illegally wiretapped conversations between the leaders of an Islamic charity that had been accused of aiding Muslim militants and two of its lawyers.

The lawsuit -- filed in U.S. District Court in Portland -- asks that electronic surveillance by the NSA be shut down, arguing the agency illegally wiretapped electronic communications between a local chapter of the Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation and Wendell Belew and Asim Ghafoor, both attorneys in Washington, D.C.
...

The two men who founded the chapter, Pete Seda and Soliman Al-Buthe, are fugitives. Seda is believed to be in his native Iran and Al-Buthe, a Saudi national, is believed to have returned to that country. Neither have extradition treaties with the United States.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the two Washington attorneys and the Al-Haramain chapter by three Portland civil rights lawyers: Steven Goldberg, Zaha Hassan and Thomas Nelson.
...

The lawsuit also names the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, alleging it relied on information the NSA obtained without a warrant to designate the Al-Haramain chapter in Oregon a ``specially designated global terrorist in September 2004. It says the former parent charity in Saudi Arabia has never been designated a terrorist organization."""

Interesting. Corey Stewart claims in his law firms advertising that he is an expert on dealing with the US Office of Foreign Assets Control. Who is Corey Stewart representing in these proceedings, one might ask? Does Corey Stewart represent Iranian and Saudi nationals of the ilk of the fugitives Pete Seda and Soliman Al-Buthe?

Who is Corey Stewart representing when he represents clients before the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control?
