Unless Faisal's brother did the investigation, we will never know for sure. Too bad Faisal's law partner is under investigation. That seems a little too close for confort.

The witlessly stupid nature of the above comment shows that Faisal's kool-aid drinkers do not even know that they do not know.

No wonder the poster is named "anon." I would be ashamed also.

"""The FBI has not investigated Gill,"""

I do not believe that the FBI has investigated Gill either. However Gill's supporters REPEATEDLY claim that the FBI has investigated Gill and that the FBI has cleared him.

For instance, some Gill kool-aid drinker posted earlier in this thread:

"""Folks, do you really think you have more knowledge than the FBI and OIG of the DHS? If they can clear Gill of all charges, why cant you?"""

In order for the FBI to "clear Gill of all charges" the FBI would have to first investigate Gill. The FBI cannot clear anyone of all charges without an investigation.

I had posted a correction thread but I guess it was deleted. Gill's next post will be Commander, not Captain. If the host would stop deleting people's comments, we wouldn't have this issue.

[Ed note: comments which contain a single word look suspiciously like comment spam. Sorry for the quick finger on the delete button.]

The FBI has not investigated Gill, but it's just to say that *IF* Gill had Terrorist Allies or was considered a threat to the country, I'm sure they would have - they really dont spare anyone nowadays, so why would they spare him? Think about it realisitically.

SG918,

Julie Lucas has actually held elected office and has a track record. She's running against someone who has never held office, run the taxpayer's alliance into the ground out of neglect, and did a crummy job as PWCRC Vice-Chair.

Bring on this discussion of qualifications, please. Faisal Gill has none.

"""do you really think you have more knowledge than the FBI"""

Tell us more. I was not aware that the FBI had ever investigated Gill himself. We do know that the FBI questioned Gill's current law and lobbying partner Asim Ghafoor in 2004. The FBI also eavesdropped on Ghafoor's foreign phone calls to a Specially Designated Terrorist Entity called Al-Haramain in Saudi Arabia.

I would like to know when the FBI investigated Gill (not simply Ghafoor), what the charges were, what the result was, and how you know about it.

Did Gill himself say that the FBI has investigated him? That information is certainly not on any of his websites. What is the basis for your claim?

Simply by looking at the credentials and credibility of both Lucas and Gill, one can easily tell that Lucas seems a bit 'under-qualified' to hold such a position. State Delegate is not a walk in the park, nor is it some sissy position like the Chairman of a Boys/Girls club. Although she should be commended for her efforts in giving back to the community, do you all really find her to be credible enough to hold such a position? What experience does she have? Her whack BA in Poli Sci and WHAT leadership experience should allow her the oppurtunity to represent the 51st district? Lucas owns some small Mom n' Pop Financial Services Firm, but has her Firm been recognized at all for ANYTHING? Julie has been working with the Republican Party on campaigns for the last seven years, but she's never been recognized for any major accomplishments. Why so? Maybe because she's not qualified. So Julie's father retired from the US Airforce as a Lt. Commander and she feels she can use that to her advantage to show some sense of Civic Duty/Patriotism? Why didn't Julie follow her father's foot steps and join the Services? Did she not give a damn about giving back to her Country? [Random side note, Faisal within the next few years should hold the rank of Lt. Commander for the US Navy, as opposed to Julie, who is what? Oh yeah, she's a loser] So folks, what has Julie Lucas done for this country, or even her county? She's held a position on the School Board (whooo-dee-doo), and is involved with the Youth, but how does any of that demonstrate a sense of Leadership/responsibility? Has she been the Head Honcho for any of the associations she takes part in? I just find her to be a bit under-qualified for Delegate and think she should stick to selling Girl Scouts Cookies in front of Wal Mart (no pun intended).

I'm sure many of you will throw the same trash back at me; Affiliation with terrorists, AMC, etc, but folks, do you really think you have more knowledge than the FBI and OIG of the DHS? If they can clear Gill of all charges, why cant you? If Gill can still hold his Top Secret Clearance, and the respect of many people at the Department of Homeland Security, White House, etc - then why should we continue to bash him for meaningless allegations. Sure you can 'google him', but no matter how much you search on google (hell you can even ask Jeeves for God's sake), how come you never will be able to find charges against Gill? I hope common sense is common to some of you, and I should not have to answer my own questions.

In conclusion, I just ask you all to take a look at Lucas's accomplishments, credibility, and bio and Gill's and then use your minds.

JL, while you're at it, could you tell me who my "ilk" are, because I seem to have lost them somewhere and can't remember their names. :-)

On a more serious note, JL, if you ever make it to a PWC event, or see me in another context, come introduce yourself. I think I'll do better by you if you have to put a face to the name you throw smears about so easily.

John Light said: "this guy has more issues (as does Charles and his ilk)"

As a good Christian man, JL, would you be so kind as to tell me what my "issues" are? Normally we'd handle this kind of thing privately, but since you've chosen a public forum to claim that I have "issues", I'm curious what those issues are.

I understand you want Julie to win, and that you see attacking Gill as your best hope for that. But what political gain do you see in extending your target to me?

Author: Unknown

A man whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War Two owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

"Very few people were true Nazis "he said," but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories."

We are told again and again by "experts" and "talking heads" that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace.

Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.

It is the fanatics who march.

It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide.

It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave.

It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor kill.

It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.

It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals.

The hard quantifiable fact is that the "peaceful majority" the "silent majority" is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia comprised Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China's huge population, it was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War 2 was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were "peace loving"?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awake one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold; we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, at the risk of offending, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, can contribute to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.

I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.”

We are told again and again by “experts” and “talking heads” that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace.

The hard quantifiable fact is that the “peaceful majority” the “silent majority” is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia comprised Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China’s huge population, it was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were “peace loving”?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awake one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

"""It’s Gill’s victory party and all of you are invited =) Someone grab Julie and bring her along too"""

You don't understand. Gill hasn't won a damn thing until he wins in November.

If Gill wins then the people celebrating on June 2 will be the Dems.
