There is no sarcasm here. I’ve spoken with Wanda Angelos, and she is interested in ensuring that her son is not forgotten. She has asked me to do anything I can to help keep her son’s memory alive, and I have been happy to help.

It is also worth noting that Wanda Angelos is an active member of Help Save Manassas precisely because she’s seen first-hand the impact of criminal illegal aliens in our community. If you are concerned that someone is wrongly hijacking her son’s memory, I invite you to come to the next Help Save Manassas meeting on Wednesday and speak with her.

I’m sure you’ll find what she has to say very compelling, and I doubt you’ll come away from that conversation with the same opinion you seem to hold now.

I think its a little sick to use the phrase “Happy Biirthday” Sounds like some bitter sarcasm at a time of very very sad mourning of CJ. Also, this is an obnoxious stretch to bring CJ into the much bigger immigration issue. Sure MS-13 is awful and as far as i am concerned, round them up - if you are certain who ‘them’ is and put them any for 50+ yrs. But to use CJ in the ways you have is a disgrace. Of course, that is what so many of your articles are - disgraceful. Grow up!!

I’ve also met Wanda and it isn’t easy to watch her pain. I can’t begin to understand what she is going through. I am a mother also and I can’t even begin to imagine the pain of losing a child, no matter how old they are.

Wanda be strong! You have a wonderful daughter and grandchild that need you. I wish we could lessen your pain somehow.

I cried when I read your letter, as I’m sure others did. At the end of the letter Wanda’s email address was posted. cjisourman@yahoo.com
I would encourage everyone to write her and support her. I know she has a trial coming up and will need all of the support we can give her, to get her through this ordeal. No mother should ever have to go through this! Lets not let her go through it alone.
