No More Manassas Gay Night

All those folks from Equality Prince William are going to have to look for another place for it’s Thursday “gay night”, it seems.
Sharpshooters had been the site of weekly brawls on Saturday “Hip-Hop Night” for the past four weeks. Two weeks ago, one of these brawls resulted in gunfire being exchanged in front of the place, the brawl then moved to a nearby Denny’s where it is reported that brawlers “tore the place apart”, and after victims were transported to Prince William Hospital, a fight broke out there as well. The scope of this problem seems to have been concealed from the local papers, which reported this incident at the wrong location and did not report the gunfire.
Last night, the Prince William County Police, the Joint Narcotics Task Force, and the Alcoholic Beverages Control Board raided Sharpshooters at approximately 1:10 AM in overwhelming force, made several arrests, and closed the place.
A public nuisance has been stopped, and none too soon. The next time a business is so desperate as to have a “gay night” in order to drum up business, perhaps we should be asking what else the place is willing to do in order to generate revenue.

Looks like the brains behind this promo, the lesbian with the myspace page, is mad because the County is choosing to enforce the law. I guess she might be out of a job. Perhaps wh should move to a more gay-friendly venue, like Arlington, or better yet, cross the Potomac.
