More Outrages From Manassas Park
By Greg L | 19 June 2007 | Illegal Aliens, Manassas Park, Crime | 11 Comments
Today’s story involving the Manassas Park Police Department’s steadfast official silence regarding a local rape and murder that happened in the middle of a street in the city is starting to prompt a few others to come forward with their stories. Not only are criminals who rape women and murder those who come to their assistance afforded preferential treatment in some cases, but I am hearing that this apparently happens when the victims are children as well.
I am told that the Manassas Park Police Department is refusing to investigate the kidnapping of a fifteen year old girl by a thirty-something illegal alien whose name and address are known to the police. When this scenario happened in the county last summer, the Prince William County Police Department issued an Amber Alert and recovered a child from the bedroom of an illegal alien in Woodbridge within about a week. But in Manassas Park, which seems to be so concerned about community reaction to the crimes that illegal aliens commit, they’re hiding crime information from the public and apparently not investigating crimes against children when the suspects in the case happen to belong to a preferred racial or ethnic group. Illegal aliens are being given preferential treatment before the law that American citizens apparently don’t qualify for.
Just how deferential do you think your local police department would be if you raped a woman in the middle of the street and then murdered a good Samaritan who felt compelled to come to her assistance? Would they withold your name and information about the crime from the press, and potentially prevent witnesses from coming forward who might assist in the investigation of your case? How much understanding do you think you would deserve from the police if you kidnapped a minor child and used her for months as your sexual plaything at your house? Would they ignore the plight of your victim to serve some larger public purpose?
I thought so. You and I would have no expectation of receiving special treatment in cases like this. We’re not illegal aliens, who seem to be entitled to “more equal” protection in Manassas Park that the rest of us don’t deserve.
Mission Statement of the Manassas Park Police Department:
We pledge to work with community leaders and members to form a partnership that improves the quality of life and promote safe and secure neighborhoods and commercial districts within our community.
We pledge to maintain order in our community recognizing that all inhabitants are afforded equal rights and that each is treated with the utmost respect.
We pledge to extend beyond the scope of traditional police services to provide a quality of life for our citizens that is second to no other community through cooperative efforts with other government agencies, citizens groups and organizations.
We, the members of the Manassas Park Police Department, make this pledge in an effort to provide the citizens of Manassas Park quality police services while affording all inhabitants the dignity and respect they deserve.
I think I understand what this gobbledygook actually means now.

It would seem that genuine law enforcement might interfere with the drug activities of the Manassas Park Police. These “perps” may well be part of their “informant/dealer” network. Odd, however, that all this network would seem to be accomplishing is producing more dealing and dealers, with few arrests that actually lead to incarceration. Makes you wonder.
Greg,
Can you give us any actual evidence that these so-called rapes and murders actually ocurred (other than anonymous unnamed sources)?
Sort of off topic, but so what:
A Tennessee State University student died Saturday when another driver broadsided her vehicle on Old Hickory Boulevard.
Metro police said 24-year-old Victor Benitez was drunk as he ran a red light at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Nolensville Road, killing 22-year-old Joycelyn Gardiner.
“Just a tremendous young lady, from all accounts, who had all types of potential,” said Don Aaron, Metro police spokesman.
“According to the witnesses who attempted to render aid to both victims, Benitez smelled strongly of alcohol and was very combative,” Aaron said.
Investigators said Benitez was drunk and did not touch the brakes of his Ford Expedition before hitting Gardiner’s car. She died a short time later at the hospital.

And yes Mr and Mrs America, the driver was here illegally and had been arrested twice in 2006–it’s just that nobody bothered to check his immigration status. Authorities started checking immigration status in April due to so many drunken driving incidents.
Stand by. I should have additional information tomorrow to fill in a lot of the details.
So where is the additional info?
Patience, my friend. It’s coming, but I can’t always hold sources to my schedule.
A crime has occurred in Manassas Park, but it was not a murder and it certainly did not happen in the middle of the street. The anonymous source to this incident only had a few things correct. One being what street the incident happened on and two that all persons involved were hispanic.
Crissy, do you have PROOF that YOUR story is more accurate than Greg’s?

Offended, You beat my scoop by posting the MPPD Press release sent to my site, but thanks anyway.
As you see above, the MPPD sent us this press release to www.amiillegal.com
The fact that they FINALLY released the information is due to the diligence of Greg and everyone who visited/works on our site. Good job Everyone!
I guess you could say I am a source that is close to the investigation. I dont need to provide proof. If all of the facts of an incident get released to the public, it can hinder the case. Greg seems to be trying to get you the “real scoop”, but I feel like I am reading a version of the telephone game. One person says something and by the time it gets to the end of the line, it is nothing like what the original person said!
