Manassas Park Crime Update

I am still trying to sort out the details of an incident I reported a couple of days ago that has gotten quite a bit of attention, and although there’s not a whole lot more clarity about what actually happened, additional information is starting to come out. It’s very possible that there are multiple incidents here that may be getting confused.
On about the same date of the possible rape on Cabbel Street, I’ve been told that a fifteen year old girl may have filed a false police report of rape, and that the girl lives on Cabbel Street. There is also another unconfirmed report of some sort of assault around the same time period at that location.
Someone has posted a comment which has the appearance of a press release of an incident which happened a week earlier at a different location, as follows:

PRESS RELEASEJune 21, 2007
At approximately 2357 on June 5, 2007, officers responded to the 100 block of addressStreetMorton (sic) Court, after receiving a call of a possible Assault in Progress. Officers responding to the area located a 32 year old male and a 27 year old female. The male victim had sustained a contusion and minor stab wound to the chest and was transported to the hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. The 27 year old female reports being sexually assaulted during the incident. Detective H.M. Perry has been assigned and is continuing to investigate the assaults. To date, no suspects have been identified.
I cannot confirm the authenticity of this press release, but it appears consistent with information I obtained from Lieutenant Barton of the MPPD. I am still tracking down the original story, which may or may not be related to these incidents, and when I obtain more information I’ll pass it on.
I do not believe that we have uncovered the full story yet and there is a lot of information that doesn’t match up between these stories. MPPD may well be referring to an unrelated incident not connected with the original story.

UPDATE: I’m still trying to track down more information, and what I’ve learned is that the June 5th incident is probably the one we’re talking about. The male victim of the attack is reported to have been transported to the hospital by a helicopter which landed in the Parkside Middle School parking lot, which would make the injuries he sustained appear to be more serious than was disclosed in the press release. The rape victim is reported to have been sent to several different hospitals in search of someone trained in the use of a “rape kit” to collect forensic evidence, and the effort to collect evidence may have been unsuccessful. The source states that he obtained his information from an employee of the Manassas Park Fire Department, but wishes to remain anonymous. I will continue to follow up on this story.

I DON’T KNOW HOW YOU DEAL WITH IT (trying to report what our government / LIMITED LOCAL media will or will not do @ the same time trying to PROTECT the source (s) of PRIVLAGED information that HAS validation .
I am a firm believer that you cannot HIDE from the TRUTH and it ALL will come out in the wash.
I am the type of person that WILL be the first to apoligize if I am wrong.
We all need to work together as Legal US citizens that are just fed up with what is becoming of OUR local, state and national RIGHTS.
We are citizens FIGHTING BACK AND STANDING UP FOR THE TRUTH , JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN WAY.
It takes time as legal US citizens who work and PAY TAXES to come up with important information that OUR tax dollars pay for in the first place and not being reported properly, MY / OUR AMERICAN DUTY……

The cover-up must be massive and global. I’ve been watching CNN, Fox, the NYT, WaPo, WSJ, religiously for the past few days for their reports of what has been straight-forwardly described on this site as a “rape and murder that happened in the middle of a street in the city” [Manassas Park] at around the same time as the “abduction” of a 15 year old girl by an illegal immigrant [name supplied]. This is HUGE, HUGE national and international news - not just the events, but the (necessarily choreographed) official and media silence and apparent inaction that surrounds them. Usually if a local journal fails to cover heinous atrocities like those reported here, the national press gets hold of it and blows it sky-high, with hot-shot, Pulitzer-lusting investigative reporters leading the way. One would expect at least Lou Dobbs to be pounding the anchor desk on this. No story bigger than this has happened since the VT shootings, and, given the reports that authorities and media are hiding it, it may be even a bigger story than VT. The fix must be in on this, not just locally, but globally.
Of course, if in fact there was no gang rape by illegals in the middle of a city street, no murder of a rescuer in the same incident, no abduction of a 15-year old girl by an illegal alien, no cover-up of rape, kidnapping and murder of innocents by the local police and media, some folks are going to conclude we’ve all become a bunch of programmable, panicked, hysterical, melodramatic, sensationalist, reckless, hate-fomenting, rumor-mongering, wussy, chicken-little ninnies and not people ever to be taken seriously on the complex issue of immigration policy, an issue that is vitally important to the economic and physical security of the Nation. This particular post (21 June) shakes me a bit, because it lacks the clanging, alarm-bells-in-the-night certainty of the earlier reports. I hope you’re not going wobbly on us.
Given the certainty with which the events were reported and how negatively it would reflect on those who have been advancing them if they were not punctiliously accurate, I have to assume that the story as originally posted is rock-solid. Otherwise, a lot of credulous, angry, frightened, impressionable people who read the early posts, but don’t catch up with the denouement, go about their business in the world believing (and wanting to believe) everything they first saw here.

Over two weeks after either an attempted or actual rape (the report is vague) we get a watered down report in the MJM with no suspectS being identified.
I just found out there was an attempted rape in the Sandalwood Condo’s a couple of weeks ago. The security guard heard a female calling for help and upon investigation saw a black male attempting to rape a hispanic female. He chased the guy towards Georgetown South and lost him. The cops were called but, go figure, nothing in the MJM. I would love to get a copy of that security guards file (he has to file a report with his agency each time he observes something illegal and the PD is called). There’s been more than a few hold-ups at gun point there RECENTLY… but… nothing in the MJM.
So please spare me your chicken little crap and don’t bump into any walls with your eyes closed like that…
More Prince William Citizens need to carry fire arms for everyday personal protection. There are lots of training courses in the area.

In response to the UPDATE, the reported location - Morton Court - is right off of Cabbel Dr. I find it odd they didn’t release descriptions of the suspects.
Anyone know the PD’s policy on reporting crime to the newspapers? I contacted MJM about the attempted rape last week in Sandalwood and was told they were looking into it with the City PD and there should be something in tomorrows paper.
