Mr. Maxwell struct all the right cords. It is too bad that speech is not available on DVD. Definitely the high light of the evening, plus the ice cream hit the spot. I hope Jackson got enough cash to carry his message out to the folks in his district.

Mr. Maxwell's speech was phenomenal, speaking to the hearts of all patriots, whatever country they are from.

The weekend is upon us; let us remember to write those thank you's to Warner & Webb in voting nay on the immigration/amnesty bill, and to write, visit or call our PWC BOC Supervisors to urge their support of John Stirrup's 6/26 Resolution to enforce VA Codes which will be up for vote on 7/10.

I thought Jackson's kick-off went very well. Ron was just outstanding and did bring a new perspective and angle to the illegal immigration problem. The next time you are at the grocery store pick up a box of crackers or some other product from Nabisco, Kraft(parent company of Nebesco, or now even Hershey chances are that product is either made in Mexico or Canada. Yet, all we here is that we need more workers to come here illegally to do jobs that Americans do not want to do.

Yet, many corporations are exporting jobs at a very fast pace. There is something terribly wrong when we are unable to produce even the most basic food products in this Country. I called Kraft to ask why so many of their products are now made outside of the Country, and the response I was given was to keep up with the competition. Yet, just how many types of crackers and cookies that are sold in the local grocery store are made in a foreign Country? Kraft does not have to compete with a company from Canada or a company from Mexico. They have to compete with a company right here in the United States. But, that apparently does not make enough money for Kraft, so they shipped jobs to Mexico or Canada. Ron hit the nail on the head in his speech last night regarding the path we are quickly going down.
