Maureen, Up to this point the only thing the federal government has done consistently, is turn their heads tha other way. And until those in that administration understand the benefit of having a fence on the border, nothing will change. Dealing with this on the local levels is the only hope that local jurisdictions have. And hiding behind the religious shroud is something the devil has done since the beginning of time. Holding people accountable, no matter who they are, is the standard of law. Here again, enforcement is what is needed.

If the Federal government is serious about clamping down on employers of illegals, then they should be going after the administrators of these day labor centers. It is presumed that 85% of those seeking jobs from these places are illegal.
