Yesterday’s Help Save Manassas Statement

Yesterday at citizen’s time at the meeting of the Board of County Supervisors, I had the chance to deliver a statement on behalf of the membership of Help Save Manassas. I meant to post this earlier, but it has absolutely been hectic today, a day which I had set aside to spend with my family after having been away from them so much over the last week or so. Some of this has been quoted in some of the news articles written about yesterday’s action by the Board of County Supervisors, and in some cases it’s been inaccurately transcribed.
Our county has been under assault from the influx of tens, if not hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who have taken advantage of our lax enforcement of the law at the federal, state and local levels. These border crashers have contributed to rising crime rates, increasing burdens on our schools, hospitals and public services, and the very destruction of our American culture. Prince William County is not the place it used to be, and as a result many of our productive citizens are leaving.
All of this is for the purpose of turning our citizens into the unwitting objects of a real-time social experiment in multi-cultural, diversity-worshiping social justice. They are told that to object to their involuntary participation in this replacement of our American culture would be nativist, racist, or xenophobic. That they must, as good little cogs in the grand wheel of this experiment, be compassionate towards the eighteen men who have crammed themselves into the house next door, because they’re hard workers. They must cheerfully turn over increasing portions of their wealth to lighten the burdens on these uninvited and unwelcome lawbreakers, so that the children of illegal aliens can obtain free health care, free educations, and free food. Citizens are reminded that it would have chilling effects, or heaven forbid, create fear among the illegal aliens if they understood that the law would actually apply to them. The citizens must, in their role as involuntary guinea pigs, be meekly tolerant of their designated role in this grand experiment.

No more tolerance for criminal illegal aliens who commit assault and battery, stalking, indecent exposure, driving while intoxicated or hit and run because these crimes aren’t supposedly serious enough to warrant even notifying immigration authorities. No more protection for illegal aliens who attempt to obtain taxpayer-funded services which they are not entitled to receive in order to make their continued unlawful presence in the county more comfortable. No more selective enforcement of our laws in order to make it easier for vast numbers of illegal aliens to remain in our midst only to demand that we accommodate their deficient grasp of the english language and change our laws to suit their interests at the expense of the American citizens.
Supervisor Stirrup’s proposed resolution helps to dismantle this unconscionable social experiment at the local level. If it is enacted, the safe haven which county policies have previously created will no longer exist. It does so not by changing who receives benefits, or what is or is not lawful, but by putting an end to this malfeasance in which the citizens of the county are not just unwitting test subjects, but victims.
With passage of this resolution, the citizens will regain their rightful place as the masters of their government, rather than it’s subjects. We urge all of the supervisors to vote in favor of this long overdue proposal.

Another moron allowed to post an opinion in the Post. What part of ‘illegal’ do these clowns not understand? I am tired of the minority telling the majority what they must and must not do. That type of attitude sounds like Communism to me, and the minority telling the majority how to think led to the uprising of Nazi Germany as well. All illegals are criminals, and the last time I checked having forged documents was a crime as well. They call people against illegal immigration “racists”, yet the largest vocalization against them has been from African Americans.
I say we take all of that money we are spending on illegal aliens in the community and build a new jail just for illegals. After they clear out on their own (and they will) we turn it over for overflow jail space. Better yet, have a Virginia detention facility for illegals and watch how fast they flee the state. The Federal Prison system housed Cubans from the boatlift who were criminals.
Change the law so that employers who hire illegals lose their businesses and associated property on a second offense. Half of the proceeds of the sale of that property should go to the state, the other half to the county. How fast do you think old Charlie would get off of his duff then? I am sick and tired of being told how I feel is wrong, that the sacrifice of those who died in defense of this country was so that people could use our laws like toilet paper, their meaning when disrespected and not followed being of the same value. The uprising by law abiding citizens who refuse to be told that they are racists for protecting the laws of the land are inspiring and make me want to continue the fight. They make me feel that there is hope yet for this country, and that the needs of the few who profit off of virtual slave labor are not put in front of the needs of the average American citizen who is doing what he/she can for their family.
Black people are upset over the illegals and the Groups like Help Save Manassas need to ensure they have more Black members. I’ve read that Hispanics will show up at the next election but if Blacks and White “UNITE” on this issue, then their vote won’t make any difference.
Predominantly black streets in the City of Manassas which were mostly black (douglas St, Liberty St., etc.) have older black homeowners who are upset with how Manassas has changed for the worse. Start by getting the message of “Help Save Manassas” to all of the local black churches in Prince William County/Manassas.

However, if those who cross the border into this country illegally are “criminals,” then what is a suitable term for those elected officials who refuse to ENFORCE our laws and refuse to do anything to prevent the continuing flood of illegal aliens?
Would it be reasonable to consider those who refuse to enforce our laws and refuse to protect the sanctity of our borders, “accessories to the crime”?
I do not condone illegal residency, but I can certainly understand their efforts to make a better life for their families — in fact, if I were in their position, I might just do the same thing.
However, I can NOT accept the inaction, hand-wringing, and incessant bickering of those (both political parties) who were elected to serve the American people, but instead feed their “subjects” with what we need to have. Afterall, we commoners must understand that we’re not quite as smart as they are…and we just don’t understand the important things.

Freedom, the illegal alien apologists brought race into the mix long ago. I, for one, believe that ABM is absolutely correct! Our black community has as much at stake in this as the rest of us and would be a very welcome addition to the fight. Can you imagine the effectiveness of a coalition between Caucasian and Black citizens, along with our LEGAL immigrants…UNBEATABLE!
The only problem I have is in the segregation of the races…I think it’s about time we start integration…real integration to the point that race is not a divider of the American people. Where do we start?
There was an interesting video on wehategringos.com which was a protest of black minutemen with latinos holding up large signs telling whites to go back to Europe. Maybe they couldn’t read the English on their signs - pretty funny -they had the wrong venue.
This is not a segregation issue freedom…it is an identity issue. We are all individuals in this country, with our own heritage and identity unique to us, who have been brought together in one place to share and merge that heritage and identity (it’s called a “melting pot”). We all still, however, are entitled to and have that singular identity special to us. There’s nothing wrong with that…it’s unique, in and of itself, and makes this country what it is.
This is all being threatened now by people who are not entitled by either right of law or God to be here. It is a time for people of all “identities” who HAVE that right to be here to unite and enforce their “inalienable rights.” To that I say, “Welcome aboard Angryblackman, and bring your friends!!”

I’m not using race however if you read Editorial Comments in the Potomac News/MJM this past week one who complained stated that only Anglo-American support HSM which is totally wrong.
Black People all in Manassas are upset but some don’t know if HSM would welcome them. This is why my suggestion would be to reach out to the Black Churches and areas in Manassas which were predominantly black but now have the illegals.
All, no matter what the race should UNITE on this issue. Some in the Hispanic community will support the candidate who is for illegals so this is why we must unite.
On the pro side of undocumented immigrants, they fill the shortage of low cost labor force for local business, in term the local business can lower their cost of running the business and provide better bargain goods and services to the local communities. Those undocumented immigrants also spend money locally that makes the local economy more vibrant, and in a sense contribute to the local government’s tax revenue. Currently these immigrants in general send most of the money they earn back to their families in other countries. Just image, if they were allowed a route to become legal and establish their families in US, they will start to spend more and more of the money they earn locally, maybe buying a house or condo of their own and invest in the house instead of crowding a house with unrelated families. This collective buying power may be able to reverse the housing market slump we have been suffering and enhance the US economy tremendously. The first generation undocumented immigrants may not speak English well, but their children will speak fluent English and be a part of American experience.
America is the strongest country in the world because it accepts and respects immigrants from all over the world. These immigrants contribute their talents and hard work to America to make her strong and more competitive. European countries do not really embrace immigrants and neither does Canada. Canada claims to embrace multiculturalism but in fact there are a lot of hurdles to prevent immigrants from being recognized. America is the only country in the world who truly embraces immigrants and benefits from it.
They can go to the US Consulate in their perspective countries and apply for a Visa. Illegal is illegal! Just because they own a piece of property, does not stop them from renting out rooms to 18 of their closest “relatives.”
Demand that your elected officals, Federal, State, Local, enforce our laws; all of them. We are a country of law, however, laws without enforcement are useless.
If your elected officials are weak on law enforcement then you need to replace them. Herndon, VA did it and so can the rest of us.
Get organized and then ask your local elected officials why they are weak on law enforcement. There is not a politician serving that want’s to be known as weak-on-law-enforcement.
