Do not underestimate the momentum that is building.

As i’ve said in another post, Manassas City also has been brought kicking and screaming to the table and it’s been many, many years of CONSTANT complaining that has gotten us on the road to change.

Yes, we still have more work to do, but anything worth having is worth fighting and working for.

If you think things will be different elsewhere, think again. For pete’s sake, this problem is outta control nationwide!!

At least here, you’ve got a many many other likeminded folks — even in the park i’ll bet — who agree with you and are coming together to take back our communities, OUR country!

Now that we have Greg L. and Help Save Manassas working for us, we’d be crazy to jump overboard and start from square 1 elsewhere!!!

We love this one. The Internal Revenue Service takes a dim view of employers paying their illegal labor in un-reported cash. That agency offers rewards for information that leads to the collection of federal income taxes that are not paid on these wages.

Many landscape and construction contractors withdraw large sums of cash each week to pay the labor responsible for lowering American wages. They then depend on your tax dollar to provide social services for the worker.

Here is a downloadable IRS form to report tax cheats who hire illegal aliens…have fun. We do. Best part? There is a possibility of the criminal employer going to prison.”

Then Treuting and the Mayor, seeing the direction that this was going, went 180 degrees the other way and threw it all on Richmond. They defended the Park as a state leader in the fight against gang crime (”deter,detain,deport”) and as a victim of inactivity at the state level. The mayor reminded us that we live in a Dillon rule state and that we would do well to put more pressure on our state and federal reps.

Fortunately, John Stirrup and Corey Stewart don’t share that mindset.

Manassas Park is run by liberals in denial.

By the way, did Bryan Polk vote to raise taxes at the NVTA meeting? He’s up in 2008, along with the mayor.

In fact..all but two of the seven city council members are up for re-election in 2008. Think about that. All but Kassinger and Bunner. Treuting and Miller were appointed, so they’re up for election at the next city council election which is in 2008. Gardner, Polk, and Jones are up for re-election.

This is a golden opportunity right here. We need to identify 5 people to run against Gardner, Polk, Jones, Treuting, and Miller. Then either Kassinger and Bunner get on board or get dumped in 2010.

NBC4 reported that the illegals are trying to form their own lobby organizations. Can you imagine foreigners trying to sway our elected officials. Lets make sure that our elected officials know that they are responsible to us, the citizens.
