Fairfax Declared A Sanctuary Jurisdiction

The Washington Times confirmed that Fairfax County and Arlington County have sanctuary policies that protect illegal aliens from the consequences of their unlawful entry into, and continued presence in the United States. The existence of a similar policy in Prince William County drew enormous public outrage which cause not only the police department to rescind the policy, but prompted the Prince William Board of County Supervisors to unanimously pass a strong resolution to reverse any policies that would make the county a comfortable venue for illegal aliens, which was promptly followed-up by a similar action in Loudoun County.
The [Fairfax County Police] department also updated its policy on arrest procedures, which describes the circumstances under which police should notify U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE): a pre-existing ICE warrant found on the NCIC database; terrorist or subversive activities; fraudulent activity aimed at assisting illegal aliens to enter the country; possession of a firearm; organized crime, including gambling, prostitution and narcotics distribution; criminal street gang involvement; and felonies.
Arlington County similarly bars police officers from asking about a person’s immigration status unless they are arrested for a violent felony; convicted of a felony, regardless of whether that felony involved violence; arrested for a terrorism-related offense or suspected of terrorist or subversive activities; arrested for fraudulent activity aimed at assisting illegal entry or assimilation in the country; reasonably suspected of criminal street gang activity; or a previously deported felon.
Prince William County had a similar policy until Police Chief Charlie T. Deane suspended it earlier this month while the department drafts a new, more stringent one as mandated by the Board of County Supervisors.
So will illegal aliens leave Prince William and relocate to Fairfax or Arlington? Or will the head out to Montgomery County, Maryland which is even more inviting to illegals? They’re welcome to our illegal aliens, although I’m not sure they really would want to have them.
Illegal aliens who are suspected of stalking, violating a protective order, assault & battery, driving while intoxicated, or other serious misdemeanors or traffic violations cannot be asked about their immigration status in these localities according to police department policy. I’m not so sure the residents of Fairfax and Arlington Counties are really happy their illegal alien populations are given this sort of deference so that they may continue to unlawfully reside in their communities.
The only question is what will they do about this.

Let them have them. Maybe when their illegal population doubles they will do something about it.
One Fairfax Supervisor was on the radio yesterday claiming that the Prince William law would not effect where illegals choose to live. He claimed they follow the jobs, their friends etc and not sanctuary status.
Looks like we are about to find out. If the illegals are smart they would leave Prince William for safer sanctuary areas.
Why would they want to stay and endure the hassle and not know from one day to the next whether they would be allowed to stay here especially if they get involved in certain crimes and get arrested.
There is a lot of subsidized Arlington county goverment housing in Arlington near the Iwo Jima Memorial and along Lee Highway. Columbia Pike has alot of it also. There is a high concentration of spanish stores up and down Columbia Pike all the way to Culmore at Route 7. This area really is the illegals capitol of Northern Virginia.
In Fairfax county, the place like seven corners is great. Along route seven in Culmore is a huge illegal alien population. There is a wide variety of restaurants and discount shopping in the area. Northern Virginia Community college is there with in state tuition for illegals. Areas surounding Lake Barcroft is a good location for illegals. That is surrounded by Route 7 and Lee Highway. Lake Barcroft has lots of houses for rent that are good for illegals.
Near McClean, there is Pimmit Hills which is right down the street from Tysons corners and many construction jobs. Prices are still low compared to Falls Church and McClean. McClean has a large number of group houses for rent at some reasonable prices for five or six people.
There are plenty of rental houses in Vienna, even Mohammad Atta lived there. The suburbs surrounding Reston are lower cost than Reston itself which makes for good illegal subsidized housing.
Reston town center is actually a great place to hang out. They have outdoor water fountains, lakes, tex Mex restaurants and free concerts.
If those places are affordable for 5 or 6 PEOPLE, they can certainly handle 5 or 6 FAMILIES from what we’ve seen elsewhere with overcrowding in supposed single-family homes.

What I have seen advertised in the Washington Post are four or five bedroom homes between 2000 and 3500 hundred dollars. That is about five hundred per person or five hundred per family if you want to really fill up the place. Usually the homes in McClean are very large with extra large driveways and plenty of off street parking.

I’m moving out of Fairfax County because of this. I refuse to continue to pay taxes to this ridiculous county.
I think that illegal means illegal. The USA has aways been the Melting Pot of the world. Today, it seems as if some of the thinks that end up in the Pot could spoil the whole thing. If you come here legally, work hard and stay out of trouble, then so be it. If you are going to break the law, not pay taxes, overcrowd our comunnities by putting 5 families in one house, WE DO NOT NEED YOU ! Our government gives away too much money, to people who drive very expensive cars, have 10 kids, will not work, yet stand in line with me at the store and pay with food stamps and live in county housing. I only went to highschool, have worked my entire life, paid my bills & taxes and taken care of my family. Yet I have done it all, legally.
We must not slack off the recent defeat of that American Unconditional Surrender Bill was only one Battle in a long War for this Nations survival. The good news is Americans are finally waking up but the Hour is late and the Danger is Great!
Politicians with a few exceptions like Ron Paul could care less about this Nation or its future or Americans Citizens that have played by the Rules, Paid out taxes, Obeyed the Laws, Fought our Wars and built this Nation! They will do or support anything or anyone they think will translate into Money or Votes for them and their Party! Their Lust for Power, Money and Votes transcends any and all loyally to this Nation and American Citizens! Look where all the Democrat Presidential Candidates, Democrat Senators and Many of the Republicans voted on the Amnesty Bill! The good news is Americans are finally waking up! A recent Rasmussen Report on why the Amnesty failed reviled that 84 Percent of Americans think that most of our Politicians will sell their Vote for campaign contributions. One can only wonder what planet the 16% came from that disagreed!
Any American that makes the effort to study the issues on the Amnesty & Illegal Aliens as per Education level , School drop out rate, Crime rate, Gang rate, Incarnation rate, Births out of Wed-Lock rate, Welfare rate, Disrespect for Laws, Loyally to their home Nation & hate for America, La Raza manifesto, Environmental damage, Pollution, Congestion, Schools and Education, Water, Energy use, Medical care, Third world diseases, Taxes etc. can only reach one inescapable conclusion that the Amnesty bill with our open Borders would have turned this Nation into an Spanish speaking Third World Cesspool of Crime, Corruption, Drugs, Poverty, Misery and Cruelly!
In other words, the same type Society the Illegal Aliens have built in their Home Countries!
The forces arrayed against the Citizens are formidable! We have the Chamber of Commerce, Business looking for a unlimited supply of cheap labor with costs paid by the tax payers, Many tax supported Spanish org. like La Raza the Racist Hate Org. that helped write the last Amnesty, Latino Governments, Catholic church, The National News Media, Nearly all of the Elected Democrats, Some labor unions, & in all probability the Mexican Drug Cartel. Those forces are supplying 100,s of Millions Dollars to buy Political votes. In addition, we have many Compassion American Citizens that feel the plight of poor people crossing our open Borders, as we all do. But turning this Nation into another Third World Cesspool in the end will hurt not only Americans but the millions of Citizens of the World that still have Immigrating to American legally as a dream that sustains them!
Opposing them is only ordinary hard working Americans struggling to pay bills and care for their Families. They have watched with increasing alarm as our jobs are outsourced & Illegal Aliens have poured across the open borders to drive down wages in the remaining Jobs that cannot be outsourced. While destroying our Culture and Killing, Raping and Robbing American Citizens by the 10,s of thousands!
What can we do? In spite of a Majority of American citizens opposed to Amnesty and open borders the defeat of the last bill was carried by a small number of Patriotic Citizens that donated time and money to Originations like numbersusa, fair and others, wrote letters, send faxes and called their Senators and Representatives.
If we are going to secure the Future of this Nation for our Children and Grandchildren & for Citizens all over the world as a Beacon of Light and Freedom in an increasing dark and dangerous world, more is required!
All Citizens that realize the Danger that this Nation Faces must get more involved and demand our borders are closed and Immigration laws enforced! For citizens that are uncertain or have mixed feelings need to Educate their selves on the on the issues. I am certain an objective, unbiased study will convince most that Open borders and Amnesty is not in the Best interest of this Nation or indeed the World!
Make no mistake, the Dark Forces that support Globalization, Open Borders, and One World Order are already plotting behind closed doors how to push their agenda through the next time!
I am a resident of Pinewood Lake, an area developed from our first President’s original 4 farms in Mt. Vernon. It was my goal to buy one of the large, beautiful, federal styled 3 story townhomes in this low density, stable community; because of Fairfax county’s sanctuary policy dealing with illegal aliens, this community is starting to see illegals occupying the homes where the owners are absent. Even though they are big townhomes, costing in the mid 400,000, they were never designed to have 15-20+ people living in them. Of course with these illegals moving in, they bring the old cars which crowd the private roads of this development. In my cul-de sac of 12 homes, 2 are occupied with illegals, shuttling in and out. One of the homes have 15 people and a few children, with 7 cars and trucks, the other has a minimum of 13 people and 3 children with 6 cars. These 2 homes occupy all the parking spaces on the private street outside of the home’s driveways, leaving no spaces for visitor’s parking. The yards of the homes are filthy, with bags of trash, beer bottles, diapers, paint cans, appliances and other debris stored in front and back, ruining the overall beauty of these historical properties. My neighbors and I tried to explain the rules of the association which issues fines and the history of the area to these interlopers to no avail, the response we got was “if we get fined, we just pay, we just want dollars”. This is whats going to happen all over Fairfax if we let the County continue it’s policies. Illegal aliens do not care about this country, there is nothing moral about illegal immigration, it is all about money. The citizens of the county cannot continue to afford paying for children born not out of love, but for some sort of gain, we cannot continue to pay for people using our hospital emergency rooms for do all health care, we cannot continue to allow social services that should go to citizens, be used by illegals(take a visit to Alexandria’s health Dept off King st. all the visitors looking for service were hispanics, with their men sitting in the cars, suv’s and truck waiting while the women drag and carry the children in with them). We should not allow our schools to become overburdened with children born to illegals (the 14th Admendment was designed to ensure citizenship for the children of slaves, not foreign nationals), we cannot allow the crime that comes with people who have no respect or interest in our laws, we cannot allow wages to be depressed because some illegal will work for less than legal wages, we cannot allow our roads to become crowded with unsafe vehicles and unlicensed drivers. The country is at a turning point now, its clear that we have to enforce the immigration laws on the books in order to save us all, for those representatives that will not carry out the wishes of it’s citizens, we must make a change to someone that will. I am proud of the citizens of Virginia who are carrying this fight, we should all help and join the “Help save Virginia ” groups, they are our heroes.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Fairfax County’s Sheriff’s office actually come out to the 2 addresses that are being used as boarding houses. They accidently left the copy of the Notice of Violation that was mailed to the absentee owner at my door, I guess because I was the one that filed the complaint it was a mix up in the address, but everything else was correct with the owners names, lot number , etc.. In reading the notice, it confirmed the investigator did interview the occupants, indicating names, etc., and found that there are too many people in the houses, required the homes to be occupied with only 4 unrelated people and gave them 30 days to vacate. It really gives me hope that the county is on the same page with citizens trying to protect their communities. Others need to start calling the county or using the Fairfax web page to file complaints, it works.
