VB doesn’t have the problem with illegal aliens that northern Virginia does. Right now there really isn’t anything visible to “save” Virginia Beach from. There aren’t day laborer centers. There aren’t guys standing at the 7-11 for 8 hours a day harrassing every woman who enters. The rundown neighborhoods are rundown because slobs live there - of all races and ethnicities. Of course there are illegals in VB of all nationalities, but with rare exception, they aren’t making public nuisances of themselves. It will be hard to get people active in the VB area because except for the very tragic death of the two young ladies, illegals don’t impact daily life.

BL, you use this stats everywhere but when I went to check the INS/FBI websites I don’t find anything to corroborate your facts.
What is the source please?
It is hard for me to believe that murder in LA is mainly caused by Latinos.
You don’t seem to be worried that close to your neighborhood in DC Blacks are killing black. Who cares right? They are americans.

Don’t just use one example to demonize the whole group. Anecdotes won’t give you enough support. Bring pictures and video to prove how bad thins are in Virginia Beach.

Unfortunately it is almost impossible to tell an illegal citizen from a legal citizen. I have heard people talk who I thought knew English but didn’t, and vice versa. It is easy to forget that this problem is not just about Hispanics, and I have to slap myself in the face every now and then when I feel that urge to lump everyone together.

Lets not get arrested out there. It is very easy to work within the law to do what we want as witnessed by Loudon and PW counties. We need to have leadership from these organizations to help focus our activities on stemming illegal aliens in a legal way. That is OUR strenght, in upholding the law. That is what this is all about. Let’s not forget that fact.

lets cut to the chase - the government has allowed these people to invade our country, each American citizen has a responsibility to approach and challenge these illegals any and every where we encounter them in the grcery store, at the gas station, on our buses, in our schools, in our hospitals, every where challenge them forcing them out of our lines in the grocery store - forcing them out of our resturaunts, tellin them to get the HELL OUTTA OUR COUNTRY - How dare you invade our borders and walk around out towns and communities like you belong here…. CHallenge them do what we have to do to take away thier boldness and confidence to freely walk in our communities unchallenged…..If one is ahead of me in the grocery store I am going to tel them to get the HELL outta the line I refuse to stand inline behind someone who is illegal in my country …. I for detaining and holding them and demanding that the cops enforce our immigration laws in this country we the people have to do something drastic because believe it or not folks, it is probably too late…………………………..

The side issue of language was an example to show what laziness and not caring enough to show up will accomplish. It was not an endorsement of a change of anyones position of what is the most important issue, getting rid of the aliens in the first place.

We should learn from these experiences. It sounds like the group suffered from lack of focus. Theirs, and our, focus should be to repel an invasion of illegals. Getting bogged down in side issues like official languages is not productive.

I have a relative who lives in Virginia Beach and she was astounded when she came here to see how much a cultural divide that there was in Northern Virginia. She commented that she isn’t even aware of an illegal community in Virginia Beach. Now this is a woman who reads the newspaper, goes out in the commuinty and is involved with the legal system, she’s not someone who never leaves her house and ignores the news. Nonetheless, here is a person who has not felt a direct effect of being a haven for illegals. Having visited down there several times, I can confirm that the effect on their quality of life is no where near what ours is, despite the coverage that the drunk driving accident received. I would guess that it will be hard to really get an organization off the ground successfully until there is more of a direct effect on the community.

People need to get off of their asses and see what is happening to their communities. Illegals and their advocacy groups use this dis-harmony to their advantage and it is their strength. The reason progress is starting to happen here is that all socio-economic groups are being affected by the illegal alien invasion and thus are cooperating with each other. In other areas where their presence is not quite as severe people still react with their own selfish motives. The next move you will see by these people is a move to have Spanish as the national language because we are too damn lazy to get English proclaimed as our language.
An 18 year old girl was raped by someone who spoke mostly Spanish and a little broken English in Manassas. No one will care about her because there is a good chance that the perp was an illegal. It will never make national news, only a small blurb in a backwater newspaper that has less significance than the toilet paper I wipe my ass with. With that being said, if they are unwilling to help themselves, to hell with them. Let them get the spiraling demented crap that is coming towards them, and let them be happy with it:

An 18-year-old woman was raped in the common area greens behind town houses in the 9800 block of Buckner Road in Manassas around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, Manassas police announced today.

The woman was standing outside waiting for her boyfriend to leave a party they had gone to together, when a man grabbed her around the neck from behind and drug her to the area behind the town houses, police said.

Three men interrupted the rape and the attacker fled toward Town Lane and Buckner Road.

The attacker is described as a dark-complexioned, thin Hispanic man, between 5 feet 4, and 5 feet 5 inches tall, and 130 to 140 pounds. He had short brown hair, cut close to the scalp and brown eyes, police said. He spoke some broken English, but mostly Spanish.

Anyone with information about this attack is asked to call Manassas City Crime Solvers at 703-330-0330. Callers could earn up to a $1,000 cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
