Yes, the papers do benefit just by you reading online. Not as much as subscribing, but they do benefit. They sell those ad spaces to companies. The amount that they charge is based on the size of the ad and their daily hit numbers. So everytime you read the paper online you are giving them a hit and the ability to charge a higher rate for the ad. If you want to read the paper about the only way to do it without giving them a dime is to read it at the library.

I learned about the Quakers the hard way. Years ago I had one for a neighbor. He was all over the compassion and humanitarianism trail. Always fussing over economic and social injustice.

The guy would hang the UN flag out on the 4TH of July - and when we took the hit on 9/11 , he comletely lost his Mr. Mild Placid demeanor. Ranted for ages over how Americans deserved to be hit, and how this act was nothing but a desperate cry for mercy from those being persecuted by the West.

Anyhoo … they do love all the illegal aliens rushing in, and feel free to use them to shove marxism down our throats ….I find it funny that; while they claim to be for abolishing borders as well as very anti-nationalistic, they will jump into any parade where the invading flags of Mexico and Central America are being hoisted.

Fighting to preserve the national identity of Mexicans in the U.S.A. is fine, yet the U.S.A. deserves to disappear.

Mentioned earlier………Is the Chief of Police in PWC going to have officers on standby for illegals? Charlie Deane has kept his ranks so lean they can’t even answer calls for service in a timely manner. County Supervisors at times have needed to force him to increase his ranks. I don’t understand how that issue alone isn’t a topic of discussion on this web site.

Compare the number of sworn officers against population numbers, surrounding jurisdictions, the national average, and F.O.P. recommended levels. Not only does Charlie Deane not want to enforce illegal immigration numbers…..he doesn’t have enough cops to do it.

His police department might serve, but there aren’t enough to protect. My recommendation is to learn how to defend yourselves.

I cancelled my subscription about two weeks ago. Asked why I cancelled I told them I did not appreciate the way they ‘reported’ the news with regard to illegal aliens. Got a refund check just yesterday.

Oh I am not disputing that there is a Spanish Jungle Rag, I am just saying that a lot of immigrants will not be able to read it. Of course, that doesn’t mean someone won’t read it to them.

I actually didn’t feel the article on the front page was all that bad. It gave the facts and a few quotes from each side of the issue. I dont want the news given from a point of view….I just want facts.

I understand why the various groups are meeting and stirring the pot. It doesn’t mean I like it, but I do understand it.

Now moving on to what really frosts me….is anyone who is not here legally having the affrontery to demonstrate. And what double frosts me is that they feel they have the right to do this and I, a citizen, am wrong to criticize this. The triple frost comes when Anti-American slogans are chanted and depicted and when the American flag is desecrated. I really hate the sense of entitlement.

I get it second hand from a neighbor or I read it online. There is not doubt part of their support for illegal aliens come from the fact they do have a Spanish language paper. Recall their editorial last month regarding while they hope the “new comers” will speak English, we, meaning the Native Americans must be willing to learn Spanish and accept the new immigrants.

Many of the newer immigrants cannot read or write Spanish. Education just hasn’t been there for them. So they enter this country not only illiterate in English but also illiterate in their own language. I dont think a lot of them will be reading the Jungle Rag.
