George Allen Visits The PWC Fair
By Greg L | 13 August 2007 | Prince William County | 18 Comments
It was a pleasant surprise for former Senator George Allen to drop by the Help Save Manassas booth in the Commerce Building at the Prince William County Fair, which George and his family attended this evening. George had some positive comments about the work we’re doing in the Prince William area, and he and Susan both accepted Help Save Manassas lapel stickers, which I saw them wearing while they were watching the Rodeo about an hour later, in a quiet corner of the grandstands where I don’t think anyone recognized them.
The Allens almost missed us while their some of their children were making bracelets at a booth across the aisle from us. It was nice to see them having a nice family night out, as I’m sure those have been a rare occurrence for the Allen family over the past few years. They were happy to talk to us for a moment, and we sure appreciated them stopping by. Our volunteers sure got a kick out of it.
The rodeo was pretty cool, and it’s a good crowd to work on the illegal alien issue. I can’t wait for the demolition derby.
Help Save Manassas is going to be well beyond a thousand members by the time the fair finishes. By the end of the year we might surpass the Chamber of Commerce in membership. That ought to help on this issue just a little bit.

Too Bad George didn’t do much, if anything, about illegals while he was a congressman or a senator.
Agreed. George Allen was a waste of a senator which is why he is collecting unemployment now. Wolf and Warner should be next. Both wastes of skin as well.
Macaca!! Sorry…as a Cowboys fan, I just can’t support any member of the Allen family.
“Agreed. George Allen was a waste of a senator which is why he is collecting unemployment now. Wolf and Warner should be next. Both wastes of skin as well.”
Allen was very good on the illegal immigration issue. His votes in the Senate were always on the side of border security, cracking down on employers, etc. If you want to be mad at a Senator, be mad at Warner. It wasn’t until the Senate Amnesty Bill did he finally vote right, and this was only after he was bombarded with emails, phone calls, and faxes.
Wolf is good on the issue as well. Knowing that there is little to be done without REAL comprehensive immigration legislation, he has worked to get the worst illegal aliens off the streets. Wolf has secured the funding needed for the NoVA gang task force, which is taking the battle to MS-13, and other gangs, which have many illegal aliens as members.
Remember, a single congressman or senator can only do so much, but it is their votes on the key legislation that count. If you look at Wolf and Allen’s voting records on the issue of illegal immigration, you will see that they are on the “enforcement first” side of the issue.
I know both Allen and Wolf were against the Senate’s amnesty bill. That is a fact! If you want illegals to continue to flood into this county then vote out Wolf. Wolf was able to direct more funds to this area combating gangs (MS13 which is made up of some nasty illegal aliens). Let’s not forget that Senator Warner was supportive of the bill at first until he heard from constituents. Also Webb almost voted for the thing. Webb didn’t think that identity theft should warrant deportation for illegals. Those are the facts! I know because I called up their offices and asked questions.
By the way, for those of you who don’t like the fact that Manassas Park is chock full of illegal aliens then look who is on the Manassas Park Council and give them a big Thank You. They have done nothing and will do nothing. If you want to see improvement in Manassas Park then you need to vote in a new Council period!
Hey Greg, Patty makes a good point. Can you make it a priority to highlight on this blog when the MP city council is up for election and get a grass roots effort started at HSM to replace them in the next election? We could make their inability to take any steps to crack down on illegals and turn it into a way to get what’s left of the voting public here in MP to the polls. Maybe even do a door to door drive in the park to inform people and get them to the polls to replace these bums when the time comes.
From all the interviews I have read and seen on the news with Wolf and Allen I always got the impression that they were lip servicing when it came to illegal immigration. They both have had ample time in their careers to make a difference and it didn’t really seem like it was very important to them. We all know that Webb is a waste of time. Anyone who is associated with big government and big business is no friend to our communities when it comes to illegal immigration. All of them need to go in favor of a people’s politician (if such an animal even exists). Maybe Jackson Miller could run?
Patty:
You’re such a Wolf apologist. If he had done ANYTHING to combat illegal immigration while collecting his salary, he wouln’t have to be going hat in hand to combat their gangs. As far as a single Congressman can only do so much apology, I would have been satisfied if he had stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Tom Tancredo, instead of fact finding about the Sierra Leone blood diamonds, or championing the cause of the “Lost Boys of Darfur.” I told him personally back in 1994 this issue had to be addressed. He looked at me like I was nuts. He should take a fact-finding tour through the “Lost Neighborhoods of Manassas Park” or anywhere else in his District. I’m sure this blog could provide plenty of tour guides. The sooner he joins Allen in the unemployment line, the better for his constituents.
In the “Too Little, Too Late Dept, there’s a good article in National Review Online on Jorge Bush’s change of heart on the issue. See http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=ODM4MDhkYTBmMzJlZjVjZTJmNzRmNDQ2Y2UxYjMwMzE=
George Allen is political toast because he stared at a young man born in Virginia who was obviously filming the Senator at a rally in South West Virginia and called the kid “Macaca”. The young Virginia-born man (of asian descent and a student at the University of Virginia) recognized that he had just been called a monkey by a sitting US Senator. Moreover, this sitting US Senator had called the young Virginian a monkey while being plainly videotaped by that same young Virginian.
During this same videotaped Churchillian speech George also congratulated the assembled supporters from South Western Virginia by saying they were from “the real Virginia”. He went on to add that Virginians living around the beltway didn’t count. They, unlike he and his supporters, were not “real Virginians”. He forgot to mention that he personally lived in Mt Vernon which is a rather pleasant bicycle ride from the beltway. He also forgot to mention that he only moved to Virginia after his first year of college having spent his youth in that bastion of traditional American values - Southern California.
I would call George Allen a macaca but that would be an insult to monkeys.
White Trash (AKA Red Neck Review, AKA, Advocator), when you going to settle on a blog name? You ain’t foolin’ anyone.
Yep, poor ole Georgie boy has got the macaca blues…
I wish i had been there when he walked by…i would’ve snapped to attention and said ‘Heil Der Fuhrer! Mi caca es su caca!’. After which Herr Allen would have snapped his fingers and had his brownshirts wrestle me to the ground and bang my head into the closest hard object.
He was a sadistic person who enjoyed inflicting pain on others ever since he was young and dragged his little sister around by the hair. Aren’t we civilized enough to exclude anyone from high office who likes to drag little girls around by the hair? I grew up with a little sister and it never occured to me to lay my hands in aggression upon her.
Racism appeals to sadists like this because it gives them a whole class of people that they can continually inflict pain upon through words and deeds…just for pleasure. From sporting a confederate flag pin on his lapel and his cars…when he’s not even a southerner!…to the countless firsthand accounts of his favorite word…nigger…to terrorrizing innocent blacks with deer heads in their mailboxes…to endorsing the confederate flag without mentioning the thousands of humans enslaved and reduced to the level of animals under it….to having an entourage that behaves like hitler’s brownshirts…on and on…
Sadists crave power…and the are willing to chameleon-like adopt any disguise to acquire more of it. It chills me to the bone to think upon how much power this man wielded and to know that he was considered a strong candidate for the Republican nomination for 2008. It’s also extremely disappointing to see how the republican party stood by this racist despite his history of racism. Conservatism appeals strongly to me but I’ll never call myself a Republican because of how the party turns a blind eye to the racists within their ranks.
Does anyone seriously doubt that this man was fully capable of reinstituting segregation and Jim Crow laws IF the political environment had permitted it?
“The sooner he joins Allen in the unemployment line, the better for his constituents.”
So Advocator, I take it you believe that Judy Feder will be a better representative on this issue in Congress than Frank Wolf, huh? Do you believe that she will not support amnesty under the guise of “a guest worker program” or “immigration reform?”
Although the issue of illegal aliens was not at the top of the list during the last Congressional election cycle, The Connection Newspapers published Feder’s response to a questionnaire on October 13, 2006 that included the following question:
15. Would you support a guest worker program for illegal immigrants that would lead to citizenship?
Her response was…
“I believe that our current situation is a threat to our security—people entering our country illegally are not screened for security risks, and it is unsafe to have millions living in the shadows. I support a comprehensive approach to immigration reform that will tighten and secure the border and bring undocumented people out of the shadows by giving them a path to citizenship that fines them for breaking the law and requires they paid all owed taxes.”
“…..bring undocumented people out of the shadows by giving them a path to citizenship that fines them for breaking the law and requires they paid all owed taxes.” In other words, AMNESTY, and we all saw how well that worked last time.
If you are really interested in solving the illegal alien issue by making them all citizens, then Feder is your choice. Otherwise, the choice is obvious…and Advocator is just a shill for the Feder camp.
They all suck; some just worse than others. We need a candidate that is going to flat out say how they feel and what they will do and not someone who repeats the PC BS. Come election time we need to hold their feet to the fire and demand they answer yes or no and forbid any “lawyer talk” for an answer. You’re either for illegal immigration or you are against it and ready to crack down. No more straddling the fence on this issue and it’s up to us to make sure of it.
I’m sorry, Allen was terrible at illegal immigration enforcement. He was ony on the side of bills which were only luke warm. Never - NEVER - did he stand up against the oft quoted preemption issue. And THAT was his purview. He wanted both sides of the street - campaign contributions from teh criminals who employ illegals and the side of those who wanted law enforcement.
A previous write is correct - it is why he is unemployed.
I get sick to death of people supporting and making excuses for the republicans who are responsible for the mess we are in today.
George Allen is one of those who ARE responsible.
Batson D. Belfry -
Sorry brother but the White Trash only talks trash under one name.
Advocator is a lot too sophisticated a handle for me. Also sounds like a lawyer which would make me ill.
Red Neck Review is pretty clever as a name. If I’d have thought of it before I picked White Trash I might have used that one. But I didn’t.
XXOO,
The Trash Man
However, I am with the Advocator on one thing - it’s time to get rid of Wolf. However, the Trash Man will take it several steps further - it’s time to vote against every incumbent in every office at every level - regardless of party.
Sure, we’ll get a few flake-os by dumping all the incumbents. But those flakes will have it firmly in their heads that they too will get dumped if they don’t start listening to the voters. And that, in itself, is worth putting up with a few flakes under the “dump the incumbents” movement.
The Trash Man
George Allen is a man among men. Unlike Faisal Mohammed Gill Republican candidate in the VA 51st HOD in eastern Prince William County.

George Allen is a loser and racist. Back when he was Gov. a young guy I worked with and knew an intern in his office and the intern state that Allen used the “N word ” often and made all kinds of racist remarks.
F-George Allen! I’ll help save Manassas but will not do anything for this loser who made my day when he lost.
