Virginia tourism officials were left with egg on their faces after updating their well-known “Virginia is for lovers” campaign with posters, T-shirts and bumper stickers featuring models making a heart from both thumbs and index fingers – a sign used by the violent Chicago-based street gang, the Gangster Disciples….

After being told about this being a gang sign, they went ahead and did it any way. What a joke! But hey, it wasn’t their money they were spending it was ours!
Good for tourist marketers, who cares what some fake gangsters in Chicago do or think. Only a serious pussy would be worried about the association of their marketing campaign with some losers in Chicago no one ever heard of. Gangster Disciples? Give me a break. Maybe the association of that hand sign with something that isn’t them will just rain on their parade, which I am in favor of. Porbably just a pack of shook punks anyway.
After the recent arrest in Woodbridge, maybe the marketing folks are on to something !!!
