Corey Riley Kicks Off, And Fumbles Immediately

By Greg L | 21 August 2007 | Prince William County | 20 Comments

I’ve been told that Corey Riley, who is opposing Gainesville Supervisor John Stirrup, had his campaign kickoff this morning.  He held a press conference about his campaign kickoff in WOODBRIDGE, of all places.

What an idiot.  Kicking off your campaign not only outside of your district, but on the other end of the county, is just plain dumb.  I guess his support in Woodbridge is better than his support in Gainesville.

Actually, it was held at the McCoart building, Government Center, which does technically have a Woodbridge address –however, not exactly as you portray.

“What an idiot”? That wasn’t a very nice thing to say. Now who sound hysterical?

Oh, McCoart? Let’s see, that’s about two districts south of the district he’s running in?

    No, he’s a moron. I stand corrected.

You don’t stand corrected. You couldn’t stand to be corrected. But you are still mean!!! Hmmm.

Just for the record, he is of no relation to either myself or Corey Stewart. :)

He kicked off his campaign in front of the government center- which is where the Board of Supervisors meets. Since he is running for a supervisor’s seat this is a perfectly logically location.

So, I guess a person running for Senator, who holds his kick-off campaign in front of the Capitol Building, is okay?

Maybe the reporters can’t find Gainesville - neither can I.

Don’t you know you can’t call anyone an idiot or moron because that may OFFEND people who are clinically classified as idiots or morons? Geesh!

HMM, maybe they don’t want too. Funny, that would be too easy.

I just wonder why you would announce a campaign without having a website for folks to go to find out more information.

Best I could find for this guy is http://www.rileyforsupervisor.com/ which is an attempt at a blog posted July 13 with no postings. He does have a blog roll consisting of what looks like friends of his who are either programmers or photographers.

    Coreyriley.com is parked at Godaddy.com.

Greg aka SFB, as you are very much aware, at least a dozen of your neo-nazi buddies have declared their candidacy at the county administration building (McCoart) in the 15 years I’ve lived in PWC.

Is he hooked up with “Unity In the Community”" That group is really into helping Illegals, Iwonder where they get their money?

Not to pile on too much but that is a pretty bone headed move. I’m sure there is some symbolic location in Gainesville he could have chosen. It doesn’t matter that the BOCS meets at McCoart; the fact is he would be serving the people of Gainesville. What this probably means is that he expected to get a better turnout at his KO if he held it mid-county.

    Harry:

How silly of you. Greg’s neo-Nazi buddies do not have to conform to the ordinary laws of time and space. What they do is, by definition of the fact that they are doing iy, ordained by God as the right thing to do. Corey Riley, becasue he does not hate gays and immigrants, is a danger to all of us and, for that reason, what he does is wrong. That is reality, why can’t you accept it, even if the facts are not consistent with it. I know voters, as a rule, are very concerned about where candidate announcements take place.

Helping Illegals? At least when he is elected, he will not lie to the voters about things he cant do……like he cant tell County Departments to withhold services when this is covered under federal law…..and ICE wont accept more than 40 violent offenders per month - which is ICE’s current policy and will be ICE’s policy after October. We can all await the “October Surprise” when Stirrup et al will report….nothing changes!!! Corey will build on the truth…..As if anyone is FOR illegal immigration….Most of us are FOR TRUTH…and that is not coming out of the McCoart Bldg today. Elect Corey on November 6th~!~!~

Corey Riley can’t raise money, has no name recognition in the District, is running as a “social justice” obsessed Democrat in a heavily Republican district, and regularly provides services to illegal aliens. His opponent John Stirrup has been on national television non-stop, authored a resolution that has beyond overwhelming support in his district, and has positive polling numbers above any other elected official in the county.

Corey Riley will be elected sometime after folks are donning ice skates in Hell. You’re smoking crack.

Wait a minute!!!! What is wrong with social justice!!! And where does this provision of services to illegal aliens come from? You guys make up so much…And whoopee.John has been on national television……….but ok, you just try to rebut the substance of what i just said….namely, the ‘resolution’ has changed nothing…and will change nothing!! Read the staff reports from the 7/10 BOCS meeting and then comment on this…you cant!!! Who isnt against illegal immigration?? The problem is: how do we rationally deal with them now that 12 million have slipped thru during the past 5 yrs? And that soltion starts with telling the truth….and John, whether he knows it or not, isnt telling the truth about what can be done…..and cant be done!!!

The notion that you need to precede justice with another term, in order to guarantee equal outcomes rather than an equal opportunity to strive for those outcomes, is what’s wrong. This philosophical basis for the liberalism to which you are devoted is a cancer that is destroying the body politic.

Since when was justice, in and of itself, unqualified, not sufficient? “Social justice” actually delivers injustice, in that if consistently favors some preferred class of people who are given “more equal” treatment in order to execute some sociological experiment which will result in nothing but tremendous public expenditures.

“Social justice” seeks to deliver an equal level of impoverishment to all Americans, promotes dangerous and destructive personal behaviors, is devoted to the murder of the unborn, and requires taking wealth from those who are productive in order to deliver it to those who are less so, rewarding sloth over enterprise.

“Social Justice” is just a pretty term for Socialism.

I’m waiting for your commentary as to what has changed and what will change!! nada………as far as ’social justice’ goes, make it clear at the outset that YOU coined the phrase as something Corey Riley is all about……NOT COREY!! So first you say he is for social justice, i say, what’s wrong with that…and you send out the usual i hate liberals and liberals and commies….hohohoho cute campaign technique…..but again, like everything you guys do….where’s the beef!!!
