William Day: Hypnosis For Everyone!

By Greg L | 25 August 2007 | 31st HOD District | 8 Comments

Of course William Day thinks that taxpayer-funded mental health services are an effective means to reduce domestic violence — he provides that treatment.  Instead of agreeing that victims of domestic violence would benefit from ensuring that those who abuse them won’t easily get out on bail if they’ve had prior convictions, which is what Delegate Scott Lingamfelter is proposing, William Day wants to try to ensure that potential abusers are going to get mental health services before they commit a crime, according to the Manassas Journal-Messenger.  Sounds a little like a science-fiction novel I read once.

There you have it folks — preemptive mental health interventions to anyone who might commit a domestic abuse crime, which perhaps includes the entire population of adult males in Virginia.  How else would Day’s proposal guarantee results?  That would be one heck of a boost for his business now, wouldn’t it?  It probably would be even more rewarding than if this global warming activist sold off his stock in Chevron, Texaco, Hunt Oil, and Exxon-Mobil.

One question for William Day has been unasked so far — did he provide this sort of counseling for the treasurer he hired who was awaiting trial on domestic violence charges?  No, I didn’t think so, as the taxpayers wouldn’t have been funding it.

Gangs thrive on hate and anger. Looks like BVBL is thriving. The difference between gangs and organizations is the respect the latter shows toward their opposition.

It’s the anti-catholic thing that I sense here that finished me. Everyone has a role in this life and most provide a needed check and balance. The difference is how you do it.

I am for a 700 mile fence, don’t agree with anchor babies as a method to citizenship, all for sending illegal aliens back, don’t think they should be allowed in schools and don’t think I should have to wait three generations for this to happen.

I also think a fence around Gaineville is appealing.

anon, i’m very catholic, but don’t understand how you can call this site anti-catholic? traditional catholics are not the liberation-theology-social-justice-ignore-the law catholics.

Legal2 - Your definition of “traditional” validates my comment. I have never felt the the need to say “I’m VERY Catholic”. I think you should change your comment to I’m CAFETERIA Catholic.

Not nice is simply not nice.

Now there’s a factual response. You can win.

Yeah, and not nice is the only sin left?

The real issue is who will be the most fiscally conservative candidate, and we associate Democrats with MORE taxes. I’m sick of working until May 17th before I am allowed by my Federal government to keep the remainder of my earnings.

But when our own conservative Republicans campaign on fiscal responsibility and lie to us, then what?

Scott VOTED FOR $300 million dollars in taxes and another 64 million in abuse driver fees.

As his employer……WE should fire him. The bigger issue is that we can’t because no other Republican’s came forward and gave us that opportunity.

Stop taking your anger out on Bill Day and call SCOTT and tell him….

YOU F’D UP Buddy….how do we know you’re not going to sell us out again?

    It’s called ACCOUNTABILITY.
