Boycott Starts Monday

Monday is the first day of the boycott organized by Mexicanos Sin Fronteras, which will hold a press conference tomorrow at 11AM at Chinn Library, and a two hour “vigil” at Potomac Mills.  Because the electorate in Prince William has exhausted it’s tolerance for the unlawful presence of illegal aliens and the problems they impose on the community, Mexicanos Sin Fronteras has decided to attempt punishing the local business community in an attempt to bully them into supporting their cause.  I guess they picked up a copy of Jesse  Jackson’s playbook.

Here’s who Mexicanos Sin Fronteras thinks is responsible for legislation in Prince William County:

DO NOT SPEND MONEY IN PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY- Do not by gas, clothes, food, school supplies, electronic, etc. DO NOT BUY at Potomac Mills, Manassas Mall, Wal-Mart, Giant, 7-11, Safeway, Food Lion Dollar stores, McDonalds, Taco Bell, pizzerias, restaurants, movies, etc. Be prepared by shopping in Fairfax, Arlington, Stafford, Alexandria and D.C.

Apparently, the City of Manassas and Manassas Park are subject to this boycott as well, even though neither of them have passed similar ordinances, and Manassas Park’s Governing Board is desperately clinging to it’s accommodating policies towards illegal aliens.  Ready, fire, aim.

It’s particularly interesting to see 7-11 stores, which frequently tolerate the presence of loitering day laborers on their property, is specifically targeted.  The cleaning crews that serve Potomac Mills and Manassas Mall are rumored to have a significant number of illegal aliens as part of their workforce, but they’re going to get targeted.  And Wal-Mart, where it’s difficult to find anyone who speaks English, and is also rumored to have a number of illegal aliens working there with false identification documents, is also in the crosshairs.  The same goes for McDonalds and Taco Bell.  Apparently those businesses which have been accommodating to illegal aliens in various ways have been selected for special treatment.

If this isn’t clearly apparent as an attempt to force local businesses to adhere to the directives of Mexicanos Sin Fronteras, in the wake of it’s attempt to direct the political activism of the Salvadoran business community in a decidedly unwelcome manner, there can’t be much question about it now. This week we’ll get to see just what businesses Mexicanos Sin Fronteras was able to bully into supporting it’s political agenda, and allow the community at large to decide where they’re going to spend their consumer dollars going forward.

When you do your extra shopping this weekend, make sure you tell them that you’re trying to spend extra money this week in support of them, and thank them for not bowing to the pressure of these radical Zapatistas.  Get yourself out to these businesses that are being deliberately picked on, and make sure they have a great week.  That vigil being held tomorrow just might end up being a vigil over the corpse of Mexicanos Sin Frontera’s future political credibility.

redawn, thanks for the link. it is truly an exercise in arrogance. they’ve gotten away with too much for too long and now want their “rights”. with the drain they are on our resources and with all the outsourcing of our businesses in the US, they won’t be missed.

I am planning to go to businesses that do not cater to illegals. If they have illegals working I will tell them I will not do business with them and walk out. Mexicans without borders and their supporters can all go straight to hell.

    Anonymous,

How can you possibly tell if an illegal is working for a business?

We need to be very careful this week as we shop and talk in the community. I plan on going by ‘green card.’ If there is a sign in the window, I don’t shop there. If no sign, then I do.

The last thing on earth grassroots organizations want to do is appear that it is a white vs. brown issue. Let’s let MWB look like the racists, not us.

Even if MWB do everything in the book to look like racists, they still won’t be portrayed as racists. If we spit in the wind in the wrong direction we will look like racists. This is just the way the game is played. The word ‘racist’ has lost its value for most Americans. It is a hollow, empty word that has been used far too often by the likes of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and now the illegal supporters brigade. The whole Imus situation pretty much woke most people up about how these tactics are used. Even die hard libs that I know were appalled at how they went after him for things that minorities do every day that are directed towards whites and women in general. If anybody online wants to call me a racist now, I will just laugh at them. If anybody calls me a racist in person, they are likely to get 6′1″ and 200 pounds right up in their face.

I already won’t shop in PW County, Manassas, or the park because I feel like I landed in illegalville, so this boycott will not affect me at all. I do all of my shopping in Burke otw home from work where I can shop in peace away from the illegal scourge.

I’d also like to start using my real name as well, so from now on I will be known as Dave B. Life has been stressful lately, but try as I might, I can’t stay away from this blog that has made such a difference amongst like-minded, law-abiding citizens. Thanks for the earlier pep talks folks. It’s very hard seeing everything that I have worked for go up in a cloud of smoke because illegal invaders chose to make my town their home due to political inaction, which therefor makes it an undesirable location for anyone else. Shame on Mayor Jones and the council for their inaction. They can blame it on the feds and the state all they want, but there ARE many steps that they could take to soften the impact from the illegal aliens. They just choose not to. SHAME.

    park’d aka Dave B.-

It does get discouraging when things don’t happen quickly enough or we take one step forward and two steps back. We’ve said all along these issues will not be solved overnight.

I was amazed that your City Council even spoke about illegal’s in M.P. let alone that they acknowledged they have some. A month ago they were saying they didn’t even have a problem. They also said they had NO interest in participating in the 287g program and we now hear that they are, with Manassas and Prince William.

So small steps count also. Hang in there.

Choose the small businesses and restaurants - they’ll appreciate it.

I’ll make sure to tell them that I’m shopping there because they’re NOT groveling in front of Mexicanos Sin Vergüenza (Mexicans Without Shame)!

ABC, CBS, and Fox 5 all gave less than 60 second coverage of the big boycott. The film clips mostly focused on hispanics that looked like vagrants and who wouldn’t be buying much of anything. I would say, judging from what I just saw, there was not much sympathy from the local TV news media.

Definitely not a positive, highly organized image from any of those stations.

I have been following this issue for a long time but have to confess that I did not now how out of control it has become until I went to Mexicans Without Borders website. There they advocate “socialism and revolutionary change” and rail against capitalism. This is very disturbing. Let’s hope it is not too late to take our country back.

If you did see Hispanics out shopping, it is not necessarily a bad thing:

    1. They are legal, which is good
    2. They are legal and not observing the boycott or supporting the MSF group, which is really good.
    3. They are illegal, but not observing the boycott, which will undermine the boycott and render the MSF ineffective in the political arena, which is still good, and hopefully once their political voice is silenced, they’ll head for home.
