Report Any Green Signs You See

By Greg L | 26 August 2007 | Uncategorized | 28 Comments

According to NBC4, those businesses that support the Zapatista political agenda of Mexicanos Sin Fronteras will be hanging green signs in their store windows to tell illegal aliens that their businesses will not be boycotted this week. In order to assist consumers who don’t care to do further business with local retailers who support the continued unlawful presence of illegal aliens in our community, I’d like folks to report in this thread the name and location of any businesses you see with these signs.

Please, no commentary in this thread, just a listing of businesses supporting Mexicanos Sin Fronteras.

i did a short drive by today on US1 in woodbridge. I saw about a total of 3. The east coast billiards in murumsco plaza. The mexican food restaurant near lowes in woodbridge and the laundromat off US1 (not sure of the name)

there is not too many signs out there, I doubt there will be too many. Should make the walmart easier to shop and the 7-11 a little less dangerous to get cigarettes out.

I went to Wal-Mart today, forgot I was supposed to wait until tomorrow. But I did note today that it seemed like I was shopping in Mexico. Do you think “they” were stocking up for the boycott? Dumb… Wally World should see a nice peak in sales this weekend.

I was at West Gate Giant earlier, and it looked like “they” were stocking up for the “big boycott of ‘07″. I also, tried hold off until tomorrow, but had to go. I hope all the school supplies were gotten.

    Here is what we’ve seen:

La Mexicana Bakery near the Family Christian Store and Toys R Us.

Super Chicken near Jo Ann Fabrics in the Global Food Shopping Center.

“…Mercado” (sorry I couldn’t get the whole name) across form Giant on Lomond Drive.

What is interesting is that we did not see a sign on Global Food. They must be owned by a chain and maybe they also didn’t want to make their Asian customers angry.

If anyone else has been by Global Food check me out to see if I’m correct. Thanks! By the way I saw a good number of customers at Global Food.

I’m anon 5:09 and I specifically checked out Global Foods and there is no sign. I even got out of the car to look at the main door because it is off to the side and not in view from the street. That place was shockingly unkempt for a store that sells food. The windows were so filthy they were not transparent and there was trash everywhere. I could not imagine buying food there.

    OBIT,

Yes, Andrade Maarket does have a green sign. I saw it with my own 4 eyes this afternoon. I did not see a sign at Global Market in Festival. (where Joanne Fabric is) Patty did not see a sign at Global either.

Global is apparently not being targeted for the boycott though because I saw many many people there today. Also …is it Fiesta in Manassas Shopping Center on Mathis? At any rate, they do have a sign and it was overfun with customers this evening, as reported by my daughter.

I have not shopped at any of the listed businesses, so I guess I won’t miss shopping at them in the future. If they support illegal aliens, I wonder what other criminal acts they support, and or break?

    Manassas Park Plaza:

    Hermano’s (mini-mart-thing)

    El Vaquero (diner/bar)

Interesting note, from what I can tell…most, if not all of these businesses, cater directly to the hispanic population. I, personally, have not set foot in one of these places and doubt that its likely many non-hispanics frequent these businesses.

    Greg,

What would be nice is to list Hispanic businesses that do not support the boycott and illegal aliens. I would like to support businesses that support the rule of law.

I checked out Global Foods yesterday. There’s no sign there. And the place is not unclean at all as compared to any other large supermarket.

Well, last night after a fight with my wife I went on a combined mission to look for signs, and find some food at 11:30 PM. I checked out my two favorite Mexican food places, La Tolteca and Guapo’s - no signs there. Checked out Red Panda Buffet, which like many Chinese buffets has a large customer base of illegals - no sign there.

It seems to me that all of you have done an excellent job of identifying those businesses with green cards in the window. Now those businesses should be avoided while buying things. One other point, possibly those businesses are owned and run by illegals and hire illegals. The county and city should look into those businesses and see if they are legally owned and operated.
