Bob Fitzsimmonds: Let’s Go Shopping!
By Greg L | 27 August 2007 | 29th VA Senate | 12 Comments
In his latest campaign email, Bob Fitzsimmonds who is challenging Senator Chuck Colgan in the 29th District definitely shows that he understands what’s at stake with the boycott inspired by our local radical affiliate of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation. If readers can do what Bob’s campaign is doing, the result just might be that Prince William County businesses end up with one of the best weeks ever. Wouldn’t that be too cool!
Dear Friends,
Our campaign is very proud of our efforts to limit spending and get the most out of every donated dollar, but spending funds was much easier this morning. Today was the beginning of the Mexicanos Sin Fronteras (Mexicans Without Borders) initiated boycott of Prince William County businesses. Mexicans Without Borders and their allies at the Woodbridge Workers Committee are hoping the boycott will punish honest local businesses and the Board of Supervisors for the recently passed sanctions on illegal aliens.
Our campaign delayed some shopping and getting some printing done last week so we could patronize local businesses this week and show them we support their stand against Mexicans Without Borders and their radical agenda. I hope you will also vote with your wallets this week and be sure to support local businesses that resist the temptation to immorally pad their earnings by exploiting illegal alien labor. Be careful though not to patronize businesses sporting green signs from Mexicans Without Borders. You might even want to remember which businesses post those signs and boycott them in the future.
Oh, yeah, we’ll remember. I think business owners in Prince William County might also remember which candidate in this race was interested in defending their interests, and which candidate has so far remained silent on this boycott.

Colgan sadly isn’t just silent on this boycott, he is silent on the whole issue, and always has been.
I received a call last week from an unidentified outsourced person collecting data for the Colgan campaign. Before answering the survey questions, I asked the caller a few questions one being where she was calling from. After checking with her supervisor, she was told not to reveal where exactly the outpost was. I told her I was not willing to answer the survey!
Does anyone have a link to a picture of the MSF signs? I want to make sure I’m getting steamed at the proper businesses, not just the ones with green “lost dog” notices.
Err… that is, MWB signs. Whatever.
Here you go, Darkmage. The lighting makes the sign look darker than it is, but you can see the green in the upper left corner.

Looks like we’ll also have the option of reading it in Spanish!
Look out for the Wolf in Sheeps Clothing.!!!
Just because Bob is saying what you want to hear, does not mean thats
what he does ifffffffffffffff he gets elected.
Agree. This is a guy who supports Gill and up to a few weeks ago told someone to move if they didn’t like it. He is/was an Amnesty supporter. We’re better off with Colgan 4 more years than this guy for 12 or 16. Oh where have you gone Dave Mabie
I’m with you, All American!!!!
How is any canidate going to address a Federal Crime. The reality is the County and State cannot do a thing if ICE will only take 40 illegals a month for deportation.
Warner, Webb, Davis and Wolf seem silent on the issue, the game is being played in their park.
Senator Colgan’s position on illegal immigration is clearly stated on his website. Please go to:
www.colganforsenate.org
Then click on “Accomplishments” …..which brings up some new categories in the second bar. Now click on “Issues” and read his position.
Chuck Colgan is against illegal immigration….period.
I particularly like the last sentence in his post.
I’m not that impressed. Restricting in-state tuition for illegal aliens, statewide 287(g) participation, and ensuring that taxpayer money given to charities is not used to support illegal aliens were federally preempted? That’s just goofy.
Colgan’s statement looks like a “it’s the fed’s job, and there’s nothing we can do” type of typical hogwash.
