Jeanette Rishell Advocates Support Boycott

By Greg L | 27 August 2007 | Jeanette Rishell | 2 Comments

Jeanette “Moonfruit” Rishell’s favorite blog supporter “Howling Latina“, who weighs in from Fauquier County, no less, is in favor of Mexicanos Sin Fronteras’ boycott in Prince William County.  This blogger is also a Rishell poll worker, who showed up in a Manassas precinct last election, and pretty clearly represents the folks Jeanette Rishell regularly works with.  Is Jeanette Rishell going to denounce this attack on Prince William County’s business community?  Or is Jeanette Rishell in favor of this boycott?  Rishell has been keeping an awfully low profile on this issue while Mexicanos Sin Fronteras, who she has raised money for, has been out there promoting obstruction of justice, trying to beat up on the business community that doesn’t toe the Zapatista line, and advocating for amnesty for all illegal aliens.  It’s about time she told voters just how she feels about this boycott, and whether this kind of commentary is what’s good for Prince William County:

You see, Ricardo Juarez, a Mexican-American activist, has “organized a week-long boycott in Prince William in protest of an anti-illegal immigration resolution unanimously approved by county supervisors July 10.”

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, you GOP batwings in PWC! Let every person of Hispanic heritage join the boycott and make their voices heard.

In fact, HL thinks she’ll take it up a notch and write a few of the banned businesses to let them know why they’ll be losing out on some $$$$. Just a little something-something they should be able to understand — even when spoken in Spanish.

I’d take exception to calling Ricardo Juarez a “Mexican-American”, at least until we learn what his legal status in this country actually is.  I’d rather reserve that troublesome hyphenation for those who actually do more than reside in the United States, and if citizens, just call them “American”, which is what they would actually be.  With 80% of Prince William County residents apparently supporting efforts to discourage illegal aliens from residing here, the “American” position, without hyphenation, clearly seems to be one of ensuring adherence to the law, and opposing amnesty for illegal aliens.

So this is what your “social justice” leftists are saying about immigration policy in Prince William County.  This November, you’ll have a chance to weigh in with your thoughts about their policies, and I imagine your verdict on this kind of tripe is going to be pretty decisive.  It should be.

Rishell hasn’t been silent on the illegal alien issue, she has been lying about it. Telling people whatever she thinks they want to hear. Let’s return Jackson!

Rishell knocked on my door about a month ago and I asked her for her positions on taxes, life, guns, and illegal immigration. She kept wanting to talk about universal pre-k. When I kept asking her about illegal immigration, she said she would “get tough” with her “livability court”. I asked her about raising money for illegal aliens with her “split the plate” fundraiser. She flat-out denied it first, but then said “my opponent and his supporters have distorted my record. I was raising money to buy coats for people who are cold”. I asked her about the push poll I received from her campaign, where they asked my reaction to the following: “Jackson Miller is obsesed with illegal immigration, and as a result has done nothing in Richmond.” I said, “I think you are distorting his record. Your record of liberal advocacy is pretty clear, and the idea of having county courts enforcing zoning as a means to control illegal immigration is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard”. With that she said “good day” and stomped off.
