Washington Post Radio To Fold

Yeah, I thought the idea of “Washington Post Radio” was pretty goofy, also. Apparently, they’re going away at the end of September, which won’t change much for me. When it was WTOP, it was a contender with my usual listening habit of WMAL 630 AM. When it went to WashPo, the idea of “NPR on caffeine” just didn’t make any sense, and apparently quite a few thought that also.
I wonder if making blog radio a literal term would make more sense. It would certainly be a lot more interesting to listen to…

No comments here so I thought I would simply add that only the Washington Post could take a top-rated station in one of the hottest markets in the country, infuse it with pinheaded rag hacks as on air “talent” and run it into the ground. Bring back WTOP!
WTOP is still around, it’s just been moved to 103.5, IIRC.
