No ammnesty or "guest worker" program for illegal alens this year. The resolution has passed and will be implemented, not only in PWC, but several other jurisdictions. They can't bully elected officials any more, and if they could have stopped this with a lawsuit, they would have. They can't, so they won't, and they know this. The leadership caucus of the VA legislature will introduce a very tough package at the state level to combat illegal immigration. MSF/WWC has another front that they have to fight on, without the tools and legal grounds to fight with. If they can't stop the efforts at the local level, how are they going to stop it at the State? The MSF WWC boycott is a failure. Ayuda, a latino business association has publically denounced the boycott, and is seeking direct engagement with the PWC BCOS. They don't want the Marxists at MSF/WWC to speak for them. The hispanic community has not changed its buying habits, and continues to shop at "boycotted" establishments. MSF/WWC is being ignored. The HRC subcommittee's hearings have been completely discredited, and their report will change nothing. The decline in business reported by owners of establishments that cater to illegal aliens, the emptying of former boarding house, slow school registrations showing a decline in "piggy backing" all indicate that illegal aliens are leaving PWC, albeit some are moving to Manassas Park, but many are moving far away. In an election year, candidates running on a "get tough" policy are getting lot's of positive press, while those who are "stay soft" are getting bashed on local talk radio, and the MSM is reporting candidates positions accurately (well, except for the Manassas Journal Messenger/ Potomac News). Voters are getting educated, and MSF/WWC can't tap this Nancy Lyall's "getting housed" on Chris Core's show. She didn't know her audience, and it showed. She did more harm than good. The WaPo showing MSF leader Ricardo Jaurez for what he is, a Marxist revolutionary, and implying that he may not be here legally...can anyone say I-C-E? They have alot to whine about!
