RK’s Pathetic Whining Continues

It looks like the folks at Razing Kaine have finally figured out that they are actually responsible for whatever gets posted as an article on the site. Well, maybe they haven’t actually learned that lesson, but it’s being driven home for them pretty hard with a new ad by Delegate Tim Hugo which references some of their content. To make this even funnier, Lowell Feld is now whining that making use of their content is somehow “unethical”, and is now making noises about suing people. Good luck with that, guys.
In the past 24 hours, I think half of the collective IQ of the RK crowd has spilled onto the ground. That sometimes happens when you’re so “open minded” that your brains start falling out.

They have tunnel vision over there. Blueweeds is now accusing Tim Hugo of “stealing” Lowell’s “intellectual property.” They are making much out of the fact that the diary has been taken down, which is smart of them, although less smart is that they allowed the posting to occur in the first place.
And now they see how their own media creations can be used against them. Better luck next time.

They have no case against Hugo.
They should try checking out the concept of “Fair Use,” which this obviously falls under. Heck, Hugo cited everything and only used excerpts which is the very epitome of the doctrine.
Fair use protects virtually any short quote anywhere. I would advise Lowell, who has always been very nice to me even when I was mad at him for supporting (I thought) JIm Moran, not to pursue this particular avenue.
Say, aren’t BVBL, NLS and RK the gold standards in VA political blogging, along with GoodbyeFaisal.com and GoodbyeKen.com of course? It doesn’t due to have members of the close-knit VA political blogging community suing each other.
Leave the frivolous harrassment lawsuits to Faisal Gill and Gill and Gallinger client Steve Chapman. They have nothing better to do, being unfit for political office and recognized as such by the electorate.

Lowell “I really, really want to feel important” Feld is an ass and his comments regarding Hugo’s add are f-ing hilarious!! I would have paid money to see his first reaction when watching this spot. I have never seen a candidate shove something up someones rear without physically doing it, like Hugo has to Lowell. Thanks for the post Greg!
In yesterday’s mail I received a mailer supporting Simmons. The Simmons mailer showed the letter that Hugo sent regarding his..er..um…affection for Dick Cheney.
Del. Tim Hugo on Dick Cheney:
“I grew to admire him”
“He is a man who tells the truth, and does what’s right”
“I’ll apply the same principles I admire in Cheney…to my service in the legislature.”
For Christ’s sake, get a room. I think the only thing being stuck up someone’s rear here is Hugos lips and Cheney’s ass.
ANYONE, Dem or Republican that claims Cheney as a role model should have their sanity questioned…
