Whose Side is Rishell On?

By RHarrison | 20 September 2007 | Jeanette Rishell | 150 Comments

Jeanette Rishell likes to claim that she is the true opponent of illegal aliens, while Jackson Miller is only “pretending” to care. The placement of her signs suggest otherwise.

cimg1239.JPG

cimg1238.JPG

These signs were spotted this afternoon in front of the infamous amnesty sign in Manassas. I hope this clarifies any confusion there may be about what side of the debate Rishell is on.

The Pro-illegal alien crowd knows where Rishell stands, as do the rest of us. She spent the last several years fighting Miller to defeat any solution to the illegal alien problem. She has raised money for pro-illegal alien groups. She has spoken out against solutions to this problem. And now she has the nerve to criticize Miller for not doing anything about this problem?

Whatever she may say now, the pro-illegal folks know where she really stands. So do the rest of us.

Boy, it just keeps getting better and better. Who’s sign is next WWC OR MSF(Mexicans without Boarders)?
Maybe, a picture of the the the “Tres Amigos” Nancy L, John Steinbach, and Ricardo Juarez? I guess will just have to wait and see.

Of course she is their (the illegal alien lobby) candidate. She raised money for them, opposed the Manassas City effort to curb overcrowding, and opposed 287G. I was there at the public meetings she spoke at. I heard it with my own ears.

Who do you think they’d rather have in Richmond? Miller, the Police Officer who busts criminal illegals, or Rishell, who opposed Manassas City entering into 287G? Miller, who had 5 pieces of legislation pass the HOD (to be killed by that illegal lover Stolle, in Senate Committee), or Rishell, who spoke at the public hearing on the City’s efforts to combat illegals overcrowding homes?

If you want a good chunk of our state to look like Manassas Park, vote for Rishell. Ask her what she has done to help Manassas Park combat illegal aliens.

    She has done NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want someone who cares about you and the community and knows the problems we face and who also is doing something about illegal aliens, vote for:

    JACKSON MILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He will do something about illegal aliens.

    Bob S/ALL/manassascityresident,
Do you still need signs? I have Jackson, John Stirrup, Bob F, and Corey signs. I think bumper stickers for the all too, maybe not Corey. I just live a minute and a half to Stonewall Middle School. I’m more than happy to meet anyone in front of the bus lot on Lomond Dr. I will have my pug with me.

As a neutral observer, I think this was a prank -
it is what the anti-Rishell people would like to see - a clear
object of derision, but clearly not a rational move by
    any supporter of Jeanette.
Of course, I could be wrong but odds are I’m not.
Nothing positive at all for Rishell to have her signs
    anywhere near than darn banner.

Can someone put up a huge sign that reads, “Prince William County is doing the jobs that Congress just doesn’t want to do” and then we can place the above candidates signs in front: Stirrup, Stewart, Jackson & Fitzsimmons, etc.

I would love to try that. Unfortunately, Property Code Enforcement comes through here pretty often. My guess is Sr Chavez, would be on my a$$ for that, yet he continues to ingnore serious zoning violations, and report them as unfounded all the while we have pictures to back up our original complaints.

BTW- If any of you have something you would like to say to the PWC Human Rights Committee, they have a meeting in the McCoart building tonight at 7:30. They have citizens time.

Addressed the School Board regarding my daughters comments to the PWCBOS, at 7:30(8:15) citizen’s time. I can’t do it a third night in a row. I don’t feel the third time will be a “charm”.

Wow, I tried looking to see if their were legal residency requirements. I couldn’t find it. I’m not say she is. This only a question, can an ILLEGAL ALIEN collect lottery winnings? Hmm

  33. Krutis said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:05 pm:

What on earth has a lottery winner who happens to be Hispanic to do with anything. Do you plan to look up her address and find out whether she’s in the country illegally, or what?
“OFF TOPIC” IF THERE EVER WAS SOMETHING OFF TOPIC!!!!

  34. Krutis said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:13 pm:

Lafayette came in before I finished my comment, but I’m not one bit surprised that Lafayette would pose such an incredibly stupid question. Would YOU have to prove that you are a legal citizen in order to collect on a lottery ticket. If so, what would you show? Would you feel put upon in any way?

You tried to find out if there were legal residency requirements.
My god, how small can you be?????!!!!!! To whom would you have her give her winnings?

  35. Lafayette said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:24 pm:

    Krutis
It’s just a question for cying out loud.
By the way I would show my credit card VA Birth Certificate, US Passport, Va Voter Reg. Card, SS Card, Valid unrestricted VA Drivers license issued after 1/01/2004.
I don’t care what any lottery winner does with their winnings.
I ask this question because on most Sweepstakes, Give Aways, Games, Lottery etc, usuall do clearly state legal residency requirements. So with that said hows my question stupid?
How small can I be? Obviosly not a small as you!! I don’t think too many people would this is a stupid question. But hell, that just my humble opinion, and clearly you don’t care for my thinking, and that’s A ok with me. So much money is given to the Schools which is much needed. So with that being said, if she were(and I am NOT say she is) were an illegal alien, the ticket would null and void and the winnings could go back into the state. They might just go right back in the pot, for future lotteries.
GET REAL AND IN THE REAL WORLD DUDE!!!!

  36. Don't hate said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:28 pm:

So because she is Hispanic we wonder about her immigration status. You all see brown and automatically start to hate. And you wonder why people call you racists. By the way, which one of you planted Rishell’s signs?

  37. ddpdrinker said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:30 pm:

IF an illegal had a major winning lottery ticket, given the situation nowadays, I doubt if an illegal would put him/herself out there to claim a lottery winning. He/she would probably find a “cousin” who is here legally and has a SS# (as the Feds take an immediate cut from the winnings) and they’d split the winnings somehow.

  38. Patty said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:31 pm:

    Krutis,

Income taxes have to be paid on lottery winnings. Did you know that? Do you think that an illegal alien will have to steal an ID in order to pay those taxes? Krutis are you an illegal alien? Sounds like you don’t have a clue.

  39. Anonymous said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:33 pm:

    Don’t hate,

I think I saw a guy that looks just like a Manassas City substitute teacher named Stienbach putting in those signs.

  40. Patty said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:36 pm:

By the way, I was told by Rishell’s campaign person that the signs in the above picture were stolen and placed there to smear Rishell. I was also told that they only hand out signs to registered voters. I asked this person if Rishell will vote for 287g if given the opportunity. She said she didn’t know. She would have to ask Rishell.

Don’t you think that anyone who wants to combat illegal aliens would certainly be in favor of 287g? And wouldn’t you think that she would communicate that to her staff?

I’m so amazed at the things I hear.

  41. Patty said on 20 Sep 2007 at 9:53 pm:

I’m sorry but I have to say that anyone who votes for Rishell needs brain surgery because they obviously are not thinking.

Look at Manassas Park. Do you want the rest of the state to look like Manassas Park? Then vote for Rishell and Colgan and when they win the illegals will put up the Mexican flag in Richmond. Then Ricardo Juarez will get a room in the Governor’s mansion. Nancy Lyall will appoint herself the new State Attorney.

I always wonder how corrupt incompetent people can get into positions of power. After seeing Rishell in action, I have a better understanding.

Let’s look at the facts. She is obviously lying about Jackson Miller. She’s been involved with Unity in the Community (illegal aliens). She opposed 287g. She lives in Manassas Park and hasn’t lifted one finger to help combat illegal aliens there. What makes you think she will do something about illegal aliens?

  42. ddpdrinker said on 20 Sep 2007 at 10:02 pm:

Patty: That last paragraph especially sounds like something you should send to Letter to the Editor of the Journal Mess.

  43. Krutis said on 20 Sep 2007 at 10:04 pm:

Patty is correct. I don’t have a clue, and I’m glad I’m getting a legal education tonight. Really! I’m not an illegal immigrant but I have never played the lottery, therefore am totally ignorant of the rules. Thanks!

However, Don’t hate is right when saying that Lafayette’s question would never have come up, had it been a colorless person rather than a brown one that was the winner.

  44. Lafayette said on 20 Sep 2007 at 10:15 pm:

I will have to bring you the tape of Citizen’s time. John Steinbach, he was almost in tears yet yelling. Nancy Lyall, didn’t give her full address, Corey at the asked to her give her full address. She came back and was almost yelling. Body language was very angry. Oh, let’s not forget Ricardo, who didn’t give is address, he said he represented Mexicans without Boards, and didn’t give an address. What cowards. My daughter is 13, and she spoke at pm Citizen’s time, she stood right up there and gave her name and address.

  45. Patty said on 20 Sep 2007 at 10:15 pm:

Rishell’s campaign person told me that Jeanette Rishell believes that the state is better able to handle the illegal alien problem than the localities. Don’t you think that she should support 287g at the state level?

Okay, let’s all call her campaign office tomorrow, 703-309-2220, and ask her if she is going to call Governor Kaine and ask him to enter the state in the 287g program. Let’s flood her campaign office with phone calls.

If she says she is in favor of 287g, ask if Rishell can write a letter to the governor asking him to enter the state into the 287g program and then post it on her web site for all to see so that she can prove she wants to get tough on illegals.

Do you really think she will do that? If you really think she will do that, my question to you is: Are you out of touch with reality?

Krutis: There are so many illegal aliens in this area who are Hispanic it is perfectly logical to wonder whether the Hispanic lottery winner is legal. Not wondering about the woman’s legal status would show a strange lack of interest in one of the most important issues we face today. You have a bizarre lack of curiosity–do you go around censoring your thoughts? And guess what?–if an illegal alien looks like an illegal alien, chances are he is an illegal alien. Don’t you believe in detective work?

  51. Krutis said on 20 Sep 2007 at 10:43 pm:

monticup; “if an illegal alien looks like an illegal alien…”. Did the woman in the picture look illegal? How can you tell?
As for detective work - I remember when Cesescue (sp.?) ruled Romania. All citizens were required to do “detective work” on their fellow citizens (and they were most likely LEGAL), and I don’t like that kind of system. It doesn’t suit the United States of America! I would go almost as far as to say that it’s un-American.

  52. ddpdrinker said on 20 Sep 2007 at 10:44 pm:

Krutis, et. al. Lafayette is living right smack-dab in one of the worst areas in PWC that is being raped by the illegals. The things she has put up with, the things she has seen, the calls to the police and the responses she has received, or lack thereof, would have driven me to drink. She has spent time acquiring proof of what is happening, including dealing with rats and other scum, to bring to the officials’ attention the devastation that is occuring in her community. Her efforts, along with many others, have helped to bring this terrible reality to the forefront. If she is angry, she has a right to be. If she is vocal, she has a right to be. If she is wondering if a lottery winner is legal or not, I don’t blame her as I would also, given the additional reality that the illegals are here sucking up any other means of monetary resource they can. I applaud her efforts and accomplishments. If you had to live with what she has had to put up with in her neighborhood, you would understand.

She’s trying to improve the place and that’s admirable, indeed. Self deportation does seem to be happening in WestGate, 4 house have vacated since 7/10/07. All of these houses had at least 6 cars, storm doors open, different occupants from day to day, trash in the yards, drink men urinating anywhere they felt like whippin’ it out! We don’t know who IS and who is NOT illegal, however based on these indicators I really think they were. Just my opinion of course.

Many thanks for the “reality check”. He’s the second one today. Oh well, I will continue to put up a good clean fight against illegal aliens and their drain on society, and quality of life. I will never stop trying to make it better, and continue to encourage others to do the same. Now, I still have 3 foreclosure title searches to do. One in Woodbridge, Manassas Park and Georgetown South.

  68. Krutis said on 21 Sep 2007 at 12:41 am:

“gut” = adjective; “wohl” = adverb
In English we say “sleep well”, not “sleep good”. Right?
Who would have thunk this would turn in to a German grammar lesson! As I said, it’s very educational.

  69. AWCheney said on 21 Sep 2007 at 12:51 am:

To continue the German lesson, you must remember that German grammar is most similar to British, not American English grammar, and construct your sentences accordingly. Although I’ve probably forgotten far more German than I care to think (was once adept enough to translate better than the translaters assigned to us on some delegations to Germany back in the ’80s), I haven’t forgotten THAT much.

  72. josh said on 21 Sep 2007 at 6:47 am:

    Lafayette,

I know New York and North Carolina have prohibitions about illegals winning big ticket winnings, usually those are the ones you have to appear at the lottery office to get.

The small winnings (those you can collect at the store) you’re usually on your honor to pay taxes on, thus you dont have to verify anything.

A family member of mine who won a chunk of the arizona lottery was asked by them to provide SSN and other documentation for tax purposes before they collected the prize. They also had to provide bank account information and such since the large winnings had to be deposited in certain accounts. I would think these requirements are the same everywhere. I’m sure they can be worked around by transferring the prize to someone who is legal in their family.

I cannot find anything in Virginia that prohibits them from collecting however I think they would have issue getting passed the documentation process since the lottery folks are usually pretty strict on this stuff and ask for extreme documentation. They really have to document where this money goes ,etc..

“How is that ridiculous? What proof do you have that she put the signs there? Why WOULD she put the signs there, knowing that she’d stir up more wrath.”

I didn’t say it was the Rishell campaign, biscuit head. I figured it was the owner of the property, who in addition to being pro-illegal, is a Rishell supporter. But, you do bring up a good point:

Because they know that the sign is an attraction, they might have put the signs there. Its infamous. What better way to get your name out there, than putting it in front of that sign. It’s not like Rishell doesn’t agree with the message. Then they went and pulled them, after getting some angry phonecalls.

My comment about taking responsibility was about Rishell admitting that she is pro-illegal, instead to claiming that the signs are an attempt by somone to “smear” her. All the evidience points to another misstep by her monumentally stupid campaign. The only candidate guilty of “smears” is Rishell, with the 100% dishonest mailers and phonecalls she’s been putting out.

  74. John Light said on 21 Sep 2007 at 8:11 am:

From what I can tell (have not read every post on here due to time), Krutis is just trying to cause trouble. Someone who claims to have “never heard the term ‘get a pair’” is just acting stupid for the sake of claiming, “Gee, I really did not know” in an innocent voice. This person mocks those who really do not know. It is obvious from the poor grammar that they either missed all the questions on the GED, or are possibly an illegal (or related/friends with one).

Krutis, attacking Lafayette is like attacking ALL of us. Layfayette has done more for the cause than the average citizen. Take the time to know your facts before you name call or attack someone. I win debates because I do just this. Next, you will pull out the “racism” card as a crutch to your weak arguments. Your acting ignorant on what “get a pair” means is like the blonde girl who acts dumb to get attention. You belittle not just us, but yourself. You should be ashamed.
