Help Save Manassas Thursday
By Greg L | 25 September 2007 | Prince William County | 1 Comment
Help Save Manassas will have it’s membership meeting this Thursday, September 27th at Stonewall Middle School [directions] at 7:30PM. The featured speaker will be Prince William County Chief of Police Charlie Deane, who will talk about the standards of probable cause that will be used by police officers when deciding whether to question suspected illegal aliens about their immigration status. While our opposition hypes up reckless and inaccurate scenarios about what the Police Department will do, it’s important that we are very familiar with the facts and able to communicate them clearly to our friends and neighbors to offset the continuing irresponsible demagoguery that is coming from the illegal alien lobby.
Come and bring a friend or two. Our meetings are open to the public and the press, and there’s definitely an opportunity to sign up new members and find out how you can play an important part in promoting lawful behavior in Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.

I really had a hard time sitting there listening to Chief Deane go on and on about how much he knows, what a standard of excellence his department holds, how little they can do, how little the rest of us understand, how much thought he puts into things compared to the rest of us, etc. etc. It’s obvious to me he is part of the problem here, and part of the reason the illegal problem reached such large proportions.
If you won’t lead and won’t follow, get out of the way.
