Thank God

Somebody can see through that idiot. I am delighted that you have done your homework America ; however, go a little deeper. Manes Pierre is an evil man. Ask him about his children in Florida. He abandoned them. Go to Broward County Clerk of Court. He has many charges of domestic violence. He is cruel. Vote for a pig instead of him

John Light,

I totally agree. I think if any sex crimes were involved, it would be criminal.

Now, and there is always a 'but,' there have been cases, I have been told, where there was enough suspicion of moral turpitude to remove an employee, but not enough for criminal charges to be filed. Those cases remain private but the employee disappears.

But the right of privace ends with child pornography or molestation. THAT is what I am talking about. Admin matters (bad teacher, always late to work, etc) SHOULD be private, but CRIMINAL matters...THEN it should be held to public scrutiny just as ANY sex offender who is on "the list" is made public.

Sorry for any confusion.

Dolph,
I agree, "if criminal charges are pressed." I understand John's concern but teachers do have the right to privacy as other professionals in different fields. You make an EXCELLENT point about criminal matters being pubic. That point is why I agree with you.

John Light,

Tough call. If criminal charges are pressed, I agree. If there is an escort off the property, then I don't agree, necessarily. Criminal matters are public. Personnel matters are not.

I don't believe school systems are protecting wrong-doers as much as they are trying to protect themselves from a law suit.

Concerned: Back in the 70s, in Russia, there was a story about a little girl in a classroom. The teacher said, "Here on the map is America. There are many long lines for gasoline. They have much racial strife. The rich keep down the poor. They love only money."

"Now children, over here is Mother Russia. Russia is full of happiness. There are no lines for gasoline. Everyone loves each other because all people are equal."

"About this time the little girl begins to cry. 'Anna, what is wrong my dear child???' Then the little girl lifts her head and says, 'I want to move to Mother Russia!!!'"

Those who never went to live in Russia are the Dems who now run this country. We have a lame duck president who while he is right on the War on Terror could not be more wrong on immigration. He has a hostile Congress who would be put up for Treason if this was of a different age. The people of this country do not trust the President, but trust the Congress even less.

My heart goes out to your friend, but he did what he felt was right. We need to close down the Department of Education and get rid of these Left Wing Hippy-Commie Fag Freaks who call themselves the intelligencia, throw political correctness out of the schools and return to the study of Western Civilization in our Social Studies programs, and start teaching AND enforcing right from wrong to our students and children.

When was the last time you saw your child's teacher wear a coat and tie or a dress? They seem to want to be their friends more than their superiors. Teachers should be MASTERS in their subjects of learning, NOT babysitters because some lazy parent does not want to take the time to assist (not do) their kids homework assignments. Let the kids have Coke (the soda) in High School and Jr. High but also make it mandatory for 2 years of physical training.

And finally, I will take the PWCSB over Fairfax's any day of the week, but that still means that ANYONE who runs for the School Board should be held to the higher standard. Manes Pierre does not even come close to that standard.

And Dolph, while I respect your thoughts, if a teacher is removed for any reason by the police, as a parent I have every right to know why. Rumors spread wayyy too fast and knowledge will squash them. It will also give me comfort to know that the county takes the protection of my children, during school hours, seriously. By doing this, it may just keep in check those who are thinking of doing untoward things in the classroom.

me/jarhead
My daughter attends SMS, I've heard some things from the kids. True, they are just kids. However, they are at the school everyday. I noticed some of the very same things I've heard from kids. I heard Mr Pierre spent a fair amount of time with another ESOL techer. I've also heard the kids mention his clothing. True, dress is a personal choice. I saw Mr. Pierre last year several times, and he's the only teacher I've ever seen at the public schools. Mr. Pierre never even acknowledged parents when passing him in the halls or just outside the doors of the school. He should not be allowed to run for a School Board Member position anywhere, but especially here in PWC!!!

Jarhead,

You sound familiar enough to know if the rumor I heard might be true….That he is not allowed on ANY School Board Property? I understand about SMS and Freedom, however I understood it to be ALL schools (again rumors between parents)….It frightens me that someone would be banned from all School Board Property and then would seek his ultimate personal revenge and to try and be elected to public office. It doesn’t seem that he has the children’s best interest in mind….rather his own self gratifying agenda

Jarhead,

I suppose CYA is alive and well in Prince William County.

I have heard that another one of his buddies is no longer at Stonewall Middle. I am assuming it was another non-renewal of contract, but do not know that for a fact. I know that the teacher in question could not teach Eskimos to make ice cubes though because of the lack of knowledge of the subject by one of my own family members. Again, cryptic information. Again, birds of a feather.

This sounds very much like bullying and harrassment to me. It is very serious when a staff member under contract is removed mid-year. Those decisions are never made lightly. To me, being removed mid year would automatically disqualify any individual from seeking a seat on the school board.

Dolph- I understand about the confidentiality issues the County has but it is a shame Mr. Pierre might have a "say" in our children's future!
Looking at his website, he has pictures with another teacher who was fired from Freedom High School during the year of '05-'06. If that teacher would have been truthful on his application, he would never have been hired in the first place. I guess the saying "birds of a feather, flock together" is true.

You are right about people that know the real storIES needing to come forward but I am sure that some are afraid of reprocussions from the schools. I do know that Mr. Pierre fabricated stories about other personnel at Freedom and thier family members. Even though he looked like a fool and was involuntarily transferred, he tried to ruin careers. I also know that he had similar problems at McAuliffe E.S. If you take a closer look at his history of problems, he tends to pick on the opposite gender.

Concerned, I agree with you. Your "legal" Russion friend should not have to deal with this. The problem with this "multicultural" social worker legacy graduate student system your Russian friend experienced, and by your description felt the full wrath of the political activist professors who grew up in the 60s and 70s, is that they remember without forgiveness or any acknowledgement or concern they may be in the wrong, is that races at that time oppressed each other, and they needed to stand up for themselves. The problem now is, these same peole are so indoctrinated on racial advocacy issues and bias to take care of just their group that every issue about social, intellectual, or financial differences between "individuals" and opinions about how people should treat each other and get ahead (by skill, talent, ability, relationship or opportunity) is seen as a threat to racial balancing, privilege seeking, "equal outcomes" oriented groups of people . These people that "think" about these issues along racial, ethnic, gender and group lines don't get it. They have no idea what equal opportunity, but not equal outcomes means. They have no idea they are applying the same techniques to gain privilege and self-imposed racial segregation for their own group's benefit divides the community. They don't see this as exactly what the majority racial groups of the past did. As soon as some "difference" or "benefit" is percieved as undeserved but gained by typical reasons of ability or talent, yet their own "group" doesn't seem to be dominating they get upset and yell "unfair"! They counter this percieved unfairness to their race, gender, ethnic group, or religion with a tactic to make all "outcomes" equal or racially, ethnically, gender or religously "balanced" by creating a loud obnoxious voice in HRC committies to have a "diversity" or "inclusion" of EQUAL numbers participating in everything or getting special protections put into laws that are unconstitutionally tested, but give advantages other groups do not have. If this does not happen, and the racial balance or equal outcome does not occur, even when its based on individual talent, ability, and initiative, or fairness under the law, they start to scream discrimmination. Worse they openly divide into racial, ethnic, gender and religious groups, and scream for privileges, that no one else but their race, ethnic group, gender or religious group is entitled to. This privilege and racial, ethnic group, gender and religious group bullying mentality has to be stopped and the academic world needs to start advocating for racial, ethnic, gender, religious group "Blindness" which legally prevents and stops allowing these groups to form and politically advocate along racial, ethnic, gender and religious group lines. You see this blatent group aligned advocacy, divisiveness, and privilege promotion especially in the entertainment industry of racially divided media formats such as BET, Arab TV, Hispanic TV, Religious group TV, etc. that tells and encourages people of these groups they tailor the media content to, to only look out for themselves and that all other groups are trying to take advantage of you. It creates mistrust and hatred amoung these groups, for the groups that do not do that. You may notice their is no White TV, or Male TV or European ethnic group TV among the English speaking nations, unless you count BBC, or ABC or NBC or CBS as being racially or ethnically devisive (not!). It is this alignment of these advocating groups along racial, ethnic, gender, and religious group lines that causes todays academic and political problems, and is causing the division of the community, oppression of the majority by the minority, and a bullying devisive attitude that creates a "spiral out of control" phenomenon plagueing this once united and nationalistic but "individualistic" nation. The problem will only be solved when people advocate politically only as "individuals" and do not join racial, ethnic, gender or religious groups. The social workers and professors who teach social and political science curriculums CANNOT do this yet. You see it in everything they write, and in every form of media that is aligned along racial, ethnic, gender and religious group advocacy lines. Even our Senators and Congressmen have bought into this lunacy.
Our problem here is trying to first deal with "illegal" people who are aligning themselves this way and thinking that is OK and a normal constitutional concept they used without thought but with "malice" in their native lands to suppress other groups they did not like. Now they do that here, because our laws can't prevent them from doing it that way as they please, the way they are currently written and enforced to protect minorities from majority opinion and allow racial, ethnicm gender and religious self-interest groups to dominate the political landscape.

What a mess!

It is this alignment of these advocating groups along racial, ethnic, gender, and religious group lines that causes todays academic and political problems, and is causing the division of the community, oppression of the majority by the minority, and a bullying devisive attitude that creates a “spiral out of control” phenomenon plagueing this once united and nationalistic but “individualistic” nation. The problem will only be solved when people advocate politically only as “individuals” and do not join racial, ethnic, gender or religious groups. The social workers and professors who teach social and political science curriculums CANNOT do this yet. You see it in everything they write, and in every form of media that is aligned along racial, ethnic, gender and religious group advocacy lines. Even our Senators and Congressmen have bought into this lunacy.
Our problem here is trying to first deal with “illegal” people who are aligning themselves this way and thinking that is OK and a normal constitutional concept they used without thought but with “malice” in their native lands to suppress other groups they did not like. Now they do that here, because our laws can’t prevent them from doing it that way as they please, the way they are currently written and enforced to protect minorities from majority opinion and allow racial, ethnicm gender and religious self-interest groups to dominate the political landscape.

What a mess!

Jarhead,

Personnel files can never be released. Information in them is confidential. Even information passed on to prospective employers is very limited. It will be up to those who know what happened to step forward and speak up.

Maybe Concerned's friend is attending the same education masters pgrm that I'm in. I spent a 2 week seminar this summer being told that all white people are racists...ALL of them! People of other colors can be predjudiced, but only white people can be racists because they are the "oppressive majority", so on and so forth. I also got to read a lovely (HA) book by Paolo Freire The Pedagogy of the Oppressed. I really want my money back.

I am glad to see the real side of Mr. Pierre is coming out. As one can see, this person was transferred to three different schools in less than three years (McAuliffe, Freedom and Stonewall). He always played the victim for his transfers but as someone else wrote "when there's smoke, there's fire". I am glad the County finally fired him but I wish they would share all of the reasonings with the public especially because this man is running to represent the County. I only wish the Potomac News would have looked into Mr. Pierre when they were given the information months ago!

Let me elaborate some on the friend whose experience I mentioned. His story illustrates many of the problems Americans face in immigration and education policy. He is a Russian who came here to study legally at a university in Massachusetts (is anyone surprised the program focuses on multicultural propaganda rather than education?). He applied for and received all of the appropriate visas. He now wants residency status in the U.S. to work here as a teacher (he speaks perfect English). We have a dire need of qualified, competent teachers in this nation. Our mutual friend is an attorney who is helping with the process, which has dragged on now for over a year. Since he came here legally, he is not eligible for programs available to unskilled, uneducated illegals who add nothing to our Society. Long story short – he got so frustrated with the U.S. bureaucracy that he applied to reside and teach in Canada, and Canada took him.

Regarding the university, he said that the multicultural indoctrination imposed on students rivaled what he and his family experienced in the old Soviet Union. He is in his late 20s/early 30s and has some memory of that time. His parents remember it well. Professors at this “university” expect conformity of thought and anyone disagreeing with them are immediately labeled “racist” or “bigoted” and are expected to change their outlook. He said that students learned simply to write papers and answer exam questions reflecting exactly what these academic dictators wanted to hear so they could get their degrees and get out of there.

He is very negative about the U.S. after this experience. He told us that he thinks Russia has now more freedom of speech and thought than does the U.S. He believes strongly that multiculturalism and political correctness here are as repressive as communism was there prior to its downfall.

Concerned said: "A friend of mine is going through one of those Ed.D. programs now. He said it’s nothing but multicultural propaganda. The program is not even teaching students much about educational and teaching methodologies anymore."

This is precisely the problem with our education system across the board now!

Personnel matters are never discussed with parents. They are strictly confidential, as they should be.

A teacher might be transferred for many reasons. Most often, it is because of reduction in number of teachers needed in a given subject. It can be for other reasons, however.

Non-renewal of contract for a probationary teacher is quite another matter. At best it means that teacher is ineffective. Usually those who do not have their contract renewed finish out the current school year. For a teacher to be removed before the end of the term is very alarming. All red flags should go up when this is done. It indicates that the individual's presence in the school system is too deleterious to the learning/work environment for them to remain on the job.

I'm going to NSU right now for my PHD and there are comp's and you do have a dissertation.

He may have been waiting to submit his dissertation, some of the students wait a long time. The process and acceptance boards can last for awhile. Some get lucky and get their's approved right away, others can wait awhile. You still have to pay partial tuition while you're waiting too.

Sometimes students are in the pipe so long waiting they just bail out. Nova is a pretty decent school, much better than UOP at least. They do some quality educating there.

Question. If a student is expelled from a school, he/she cannot attend school in the same county, correct? If that is the case, why not the same for teachers??? He NEVER should have been transferred to another school...ESPECIALLY without discussion with parents present.

I actually fired off a couple complaints about some Sharon Pandak signs I saw inappropriately placed. Since Craig Vetter seems to avoid reporting anyone of the Democratic persuasion I figured I'd go look for some. Honestly, I didnt find too many on my jaunts this weekend. I did find some Pandak ones though, they by far outweighed the rest. I did this just for spite, the signs really dont annoy me at all. I'm not sure what all the commotion is about signs. I find more interesting things to be ticked off about, like illegal immigrants.
